God's Word does ""not"" teach that baptism is essential for salvation.

I can see what Jesus is teaching. Why can't you?
Jesus is teaching belief + baptism = salvation. "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved"
Why do you keep waffling on about unbelievers? "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved" is about believers.
You need to believe Jesus.
Yet the vast majority of verses on salvation teach only belief in Christ fir salvation, not water dunking. @Marymog
No one has made a claim that an "unbeliever" (baptized or not) is saved. So why do you keep making that assertion....
To sum this all up ... NO ONE has claimed that an "unbeliever" (baptized or not) is saved. If you feel otherwise, please provide the post.

Looks like your trying to back-peddle your way out of all that waffling-on about "unbelievers" being baptized (which BTW, NO ONE has claimed were saved).

Baptism represents new life in the Spirit. Apparently, you haven't READ John 3:5, Col. 2:11-12 or Acts 2:38 . . .
It only represents death to the former SELF.
So if baptized unbelievers are not saved then baptism is not a must to be saved!!!TRY TO THINK! Baptism saves no one!!

Jesus was baptized therefore baptism is in fact essential if one chooses to follow the path of Jesus.

You were previously informed that an "unbeliever" (baptized or not) is not saved.
Now since you continue with this whole "unbeliever" issue, please provide book, chapter and verse whereby an "unbeliever" is "saved" with or without baptism, where an UNBELIEVER is saved in any method.
Satan makes use of baptism to deceive many. Many think that they are saved because they have been baptized as a baby or young child or even as a adult and satan must laugh!!
I haven't said anything about baptised unbelievers. That is a different topic.
The topic here is that Jesus said if we believe and are baptised we will be saved.
We are not saved just because we believe.
Jesus said "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved".
That is belief + baptism = salvation.

Justification is the declaring of a person to be just or righteous/ just as if we had never sinned . ephesians 2 saved by Grace through faith.
baptism follows salvation symbolic to affirmation of our faith .
belief + salvation = baptism is the proper order .baptism follows after we get saved
