You're using your own interpretation of the events described, as proof that they have not happened. That's circular logic, because I can just as easily claim that they have, but only one of us is supported by scripture, and that's me.
You claim that John was told this Revelation was about the distant future, but that's not true. John was
not told that the vision was about the distant future. In fact, he was told the exact opposite. He was told it "
must soon take place". Daniel was told that his vision was about the distant future (because he'd received his vision 400 years earlier), but John was not told that, so how can you claim that Revelation was about the distant future? You can't. You're only making that claim because
as far as you know, some of those things described have not yet happened. So you're literally using
your own understanding, as evidence to support your claim. I'm using
