And many of those denominations that are called Christian have paper staements that are right on, but have gone apostate as churchs.
I know. The subject was surrounding the Pentagon removing some of the so-called "Christian Faith Religions" from the roster of hiring Specific "Chaplains" for each individual group. I looked into why? and I found that each "Chaplain" for each Group, no matter where they are scattered around the globe, cost the American taxpayers, $190k a year plus housing, meals, travel, and whatever else they added as part of their "job description" per chaplain.
And right now we been doing a little housekeeping trying to reduce some expenditures that might be used a better way.
There originally was over 200 different categories of "Christan Faith Religions" so each category would get a piece of the pie.
The Pentagon decided to consolidate those 200+ down to 31.
That didn't set too well with a lot of umm denominations.
And that's what I was trying to bring attention to.
Not so much what their faith was based in, but should they even be considered "Christian Faith Religion"
Because that is how they listed themselves to be able to have "Chaplains" .
That included, Buddhism, Wicca, ..
There is a list on the first page of this thread I think of the 31.
I dropped a link that had all 200+ somewhere.
So that was the purpose of this thread.
But if you all choose to carry on in whatever capacity regarding Faith and denominations,
The thread is open, carry on.
