The relevance of biblical prophecies is a matter of interpretation and perspective. Some people believe that the prophecies in the Bible are still relevant today and can be interpreted and applied to current events and situations. They argue that the Bible contains timeless truths and messages that are relevant to all people, regardless of the time period in which they live. They see the biblical prophecies as a way to understand God's plan for humanity and the world.

Others argue that biblical prophecies were intended for the people of the time in which they were written and should be understood in that historical context. They view the prophecies as having been fulfilled in the past, and therefore no longer relevant today.

Ultimately, whether or not one believes that biblical prophecies are still relevant today is a matter of personal belief. Some religious scholars and theologians argue that biblical prophecies are important for understanding the past, present, and future of the world, while others argue that the prophecies are no longer relevant today.

All prophecies (fore telling or forth telling) are relevant until they are fulfilled … at which time they are still relevant but not prophecies anymore.

Everything pertaining to the Parousia…. be it Rapture or the Lords day is relevant… as neither of those events have taken place.

Prophecy was given primarily to people who had been in covenant with God. It is an agreement between God and Man, that Man should serve God, and God will enter into a blessed relationship with Man.

Many will not accept prophecy because they reject a relationship with God. That's okay. It's not for them. Those who violate their covenant relationship with God will hear negative prophecies, and they may or may not respond.

At any rate, prophecy is not always accepted, and certainly not accepted universally, because it requires people interested in God and serious about His word. For those who walk with God, prophecy is very real.

The major issue with believers is that they have a Sin Nature and do not see clearly. And thus, many of us are susceptible to error, to wanting to hear what we want to hear, rather than viewing things that are unpopular or something we don't want to hear.

So true prophecy must be discerned as being truly of God. Otherwise, it gives prophecy a bad name, because it is not really from God.
