Titus 1:1-16

Introduction 1-4, Ordain Qualified Elders 5-9, Rebuke False Teachers 10-16

Titus 1 Parallel Bible

What Does Titus 1:1 Mean?

Verse of the Day on Titus

Titus 1:1: There are several different English translations of Titus 1:1 that can be confusing to understand. The essence of this verse suggests that Paul was in the service of God, being called out by Jesus Christ to show and guide Christians in truth to maturity. To lead them in how they can live in holiness, in reverence to God and his will.

Bless you,

Yes, indeed.
Acts 2:41-44 41Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. 42They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common.

Great verses. I do believe the 'wonders and signs' were restricted ordinarily to the Apostolic period before the Scriptures were complete.
