In the Garden, ......Adam lost "spiritual union" with God, because of his disobedience.
This is "Adam's Fall".....and Adam instantly became something spiritually different.
He literally became this....Jesus said....>"you are of YOUR FATHER, the DEVIL, and the Lusts of YOUR FATHER, you shall do".
Soon Cain was killing His brother, and not long after that God is burning Sodom and Gomorrah.
See that? That is the result of Adam's "fall".
Notice that Lucifer rebelled and FELL from Heaven......Jesus describes it in Luke 10:18
And Adam rebelled and you have "Adam's fall".
See the similarity?
= That is all human beings.....born into that "adamic nature".....that is literally the nature of the DEVIL.
See...., SIN is normal for the Devil...its his nature, and Jesus said its the same for us.... "the LUSTS OF YOUR FATHER"..... "You shall DO".
See that? That is why you sin, naturally.
That is human nature.........everyone's.
Enter God on the Cross.
He is redeeming the world from their sin....and He does this by living a sinless life, that is sacrificed as...John 3:16., that provides John 3:17 that Believers never read, and its the Crown of Grace as a verse in the NT.
Read it.
Now, here is the thing you have to SEE.
ADAM, before he fell, had ETERNAL Spiritual Union with God.... they were "ONE" in Spirit.......and then the sin, the rebellion, the transgression that Adam committed, separated his SPIRIT from GOD's Spirit. is ....to be "lost"
Jesus came, who is God manifested in the Flesh, as the 2nd Adam
He is just like the first ADAM before he fell .......sinless.
When God as Christ dies on the Cross, this sacrifice for the WORLD, for everyone that is "the Gift of Salvation".. becomes the Eternal LIFE that God offers to all who will believe in Jesus....this...> "The will of God, is that you believe on Jesus, whom God sent'.
You do that, and God does this.. > He provides you, with the very LIFE that Christ lived...as if YOU Lived it.
The NT teaches that "Jesus became sin"....all of it..for the world....everyone's.
So, when you go to the Cross, believing in Jesus.. ALL Your SIN becomes...."Jesus became sin"....and God does this for you...= "made righteous".
You are given "the Gift of Righteousness"....you literally become "the righteousness of God.....In Christ".= Spiritually......as "born again"......"A new creation in Christ".
And for that to happen, ....what God does, is birth's your spirit....as born again......into His Eternal Spirit, by the Holy Spirit.
Born again, means that you have become a "new Creation"....that you now exit in Spiritual UNION with God's Holy Spirit that lives in you...as .. "Christ in you, the hope of Glory".
The NT tells you...>>"He that has not the Spirit of God.....is none of God's".....
You become JOINED TO GOD< exactly as Adam was, before He sinned.. That is the end result...
This is what the NT defines as...>"a new Creation"..."In Christ".
This Joining of your spirit to God's....is caused by Christ who comes to live in you..>"Christ in you, the hope of Glory".........also this....You become a : "temple of the Holy Spirit".
The temple is your BODY, and the Holy Spirit is Christ in you...JOINED to your Spirit...and this Union of Christ with your Spirit,.....is to become BORN AGAIN., as a "new Creation, in Christ".
The NT teaches that "Christ IS THAT Spirit"... The Holy Spirt.
So, the simple math is this...
The 1st Adam's spirit was disconnected from God's Holy Spirit because Adam disobeyed...
Christ, who is God on the Cross, .. .who is the 2nd Adam....offers you RECONNECTION to God....which means to become in Spiritual Union with GOD, ....Spiritually.
This is to become BORN AGAIN. This is ETERNAL LIFE, that you now possess.
How is that?
Because Christ is in you, and Jesus Himself is Eternal Life...John 14:6.
And that is why 1 John tells you that "You can KNOW that you have eternal LIFE".
And how? Because JESUS who is Eternal LIFE< is in you, Joined to your Spirit.
All this is God birthing your spirit into HIS, by the Holy Spirit...and the end result is what the NT explains as....to become "Made Righteous".."ONE with God"..."In Christ"....a "new Creation".
Now....Notice this verse..> """""as many as believe in Jesus...God gives to them ...POWER TO BECOME....a Son of God"".
See that "POWER TO BECOME"..??? ..that is the Holy Spirit of God birthing your Spirit into Spiritual UNION with God's Holy Spirit.
See that "Son of God"..that you become? ??? That is ADAM before He fell.....that is what you are restored to Spiritually.....as born again.

The body is not born again. The mind is not born again..>its only the SPIRIT in you that is eternally Joined to God, that proves you are...."born again".
The only proof you are going to Heaven, is if you are "born again"., as only the Born again go to heaven.
This is the "New Birth"....This is how you become a ...."New Creation, IN CHRIST"...and its a FREE GIFT....that God gives, when you take Christ into your heart by faith, and are born again.
= "THE GIFT OF SALVATiON".
