This is really the bottom line for me. Saying that we keep the Law is selling ourselves short. Why just keep the Law? Why not live the true and full righteousness of God?

    Much love!

Of course, we're also to have the lovey dovey feelings too. No sterile love ours!

    . . . and to godliness, add brotherly kindness . . . affection for others . . . Love we feel.

    Much love!

That was my way of saying that I don't have the brain power to discuss it. I have to pick my battles. :)

In regards to cross gendered clothing, Do you it's because God only approves of dresses on women, or because God wants us all to be who He made us? Is it truly about what we look like, or what we are doing inside?

Which defiles us, what is outside, or what is inside?

    Much love!

The apostles did, because they had the anointing. "Let no one judge you be food, drink, feasts, new moons, or shabbaths, because these were all shadows of realities found in the Messiah".

I'm not sure why you don't get what I'm saying, but those of the New Covenant not only keep the Old Testament royal laws of God, but the deeper laws of Jesus, and yet you think that is being torahless? You still are not listening, let alone comprehending. That is because it is spiritually discerned, and you are still carnal, thus thinking the things of God are foolishness, so you mock. This is why your prayers are not answered. Keep it up, and you will be like a hamster running in circles, never getting anywhere.

I never read that it was for personal reasons. But even it if was, Paul should have taken care of it with Peter privately, not gossiped about it in a letter.

Of course He did not come to abolish the Law!!! He came to FULFILL it. Because WE could NEVER DO IT. I don't care how many ceremonial Jewish boxes you have on your head, or your doorposts, or what you wear, eat...and guess what...neither does God. I am free indeed.

This isn't about trying to show off our magical powers. Putting God to the test. Prove You are here/I'm annointed/whatever and Raise My Dead!

He came to abolish the enmity that the law creates between God and man, Ephesians 2:15-16 (kjv).

    Hi CL,

    Galatians 2:12
"For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision."

Since this is a declaration within a narrative, I take it as truth. Peter was afraid of the Law-keeping Jews, so he stopped eating with the gentiles when they were there, even influencing others the same way.

I'm thinking God wanted to make a deal out of it.

    Much love!

Mark, I see your point, but Paul circumcised Timothy for the very same reason. It was truth for Paul, but it was still a trespass against Peter. Not everything that Paul says in his letters were from God. He admits this himself in 1 Corinthians 7, and I've seen this problem in one of his letters to Timothy also.

Yes, what else binds us???! lol.

"Christ is the culmination of the law” (Romans 10:4). The predictions of the Prophets concerning the Messiah would be realized in Jesus; the holy standard of the Law would be perfectly upheld by Christ, the strict requirements personally obeyed, and the ceremonial observances finally and fully satisfied."

So then, all of these outward things our friend does is for naught because they too were "shadows"! :)

What does it mean that Jesus fulfilled the law, but did not abolish it? | GotQuestions.org

The ordinances of the Torah have been abolished, not the entire Torah itself.

The exterior is a reflection of the interior. Both matter.
