My wife homeschooled our oldest through high-school and the others through 8th grade. My oldest she is a director of childrens ministry with her masters. My other daughter is a missionary with YWAM. She married her teacher :). He is an amazing man. same with my other son in law he is a pastor. We raised our children in the ways of the Lord and they have not departed. PTL.

All four of my children know what they believe, why they believe it and how to give anyone who asks them to give a reason for the hope they have in Christ. I also don't push my faith on them its their own but we still talk through things in life and I always challenge them with scripture. :)

I can't help myself lol. I always say to them would you like the biblical answer or societies answer to the question ? :)

And my wife is the most caring and godly person I have ever known she is so others focused its unbelievable. She is amazing and was the same way when she had her breast cancer 10 years ago. It was between 3-4 and was called the silent killer- Inflammatory Breast Cancer. PTL she survived all the chemo and radiation treatments and surgery. God is good indeed. She is a light in our neighborhood. Even when I have been unemployed she would bring people meals and volunteers to help others in need even when we have had basic needs. I'm so blessed to have a life partner like her. We are HS sweethearts and were not saved then and God changed my life and then I witnessed to her and the Lord saved her and we married in 85. We started dating in 77. OK enough rambling for now lol but thats my family in a nutshell.

I'm talking about sinless in the eyes of God. He looks at our heart and most importantly at our will. If you KNOW/have knowledge that something is a sin and you commit that sin, that is willful sin. That is something a Christian would not commit. It is written on their conscience. On the other hand, if you are convinced in your mind from a false teacher that something is not a sin, and you commit that sin with a clear conscience, that is when Jesus as our Advocate automatically cleanses of that sin and we REMAIN sinless. Why? Because are heart is still right before God. But the Spirit is not going to leave you in the dark. He will teach you the truth at some point and write it on your conscience, and you cannot commit it any longer, and don't, making you still sinless. It is not more sinless. It is more knowledge of sin.

Then let me ask you this.

Do you think it is not sin for cannibals who have grown up to be so for untold generations to eat other people and take wooves from the living for their own? IOW Adultery and murder.

They are not doing so with a will ful conscience so do you say it is not sin for them.

Well Christ lived and died and resurrected ! In His living He kept and obeyed God's Law for His People. When He died He paid for the penalty of sin God's people incurred for their sins and His Resurrection showed that God accepted all that He did and that it Justified all the Sheep He lived and died for. That's what He did to justify the Elect of God.

This is sanctification through the Spirit (2 Thessalonians 2:13).

What we have here is an understanding that we are still in mortal fallen flesh that is subject to passions and sin. We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Purpose each moment to walk after the Spirit so that we are walking in His power and not our own. Now, Paul stated that there are 2 laws warring within us...and that sometimes, the good that we want to do, we don't do ...and the evil that we don't want to do, that's what we do. We should strive to live a life pleasing to God ...one not ruled by sin and the flesh ...but IF WE SIN ....praise God, we have an Advocate with the Father who is Jesus Christ the Righteous!
See ...we have to understand that in us dwells no good thing, except the blood of Christ ...HE IS our righteousness. We cannot claim to be sinless ...there was only One who walked a sinless life on this earth (Jesus Christ).

When we believe on Him, He comes and creates a new heart within us that desires ...to will and to do ....to live a holy life. But ...if we mess up, thankfully, the blood of Jesus is there ...and our Advocate testifies to the Father that we are righteous based on our belief and faith in Him/Jesus Christ.

I remember an old southern gospel song by the McKameys ...the chorus says, "When He sees me, He sees the blood of the Lamb. He sees me as worthy, and not as I am. He views me in garments, as white as the snow. For the Lamb of God is worthy. And He washed me - this, I know!"

When we stand before Him, we will stand before Him covered by the blood ...or we will stand there reciting all our good works. Either we will place all our faith in Him and His finished work on the cross ...or we will place our faith in self and our own works. One will hear, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant..." and one will hear, "Depart from me, you who work iniquity. I never knew you." Those who trust in themselves and their good works rather than the blood of Jesus will miss spending eternity with Him.

There are many references that point to the fact we are to live after the Spirit so that we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. But we will miss the mark sometimes ...even if it's to feel prideful that we are so good ...that pride will be our downfall. Bottom line is...Jesus Christ is our righteousness. There is where our faith must remain.
