You can't "see" that babies are spiritually wicked because you read the Bible like it's an ordinary book and with human logic. But the Bible is spiritual and therefore must be spiritually discerned.
Do you have any idea how silly this sounds. Silly being the kindest word I can think of.
First, I assume you do read your Holy Bible? And if so I assume you are not stuck in just a few select books that bolster your ideas?
You are aware that nothing gets born or enters into life unless it comes into being because our heavenly Father designed the system of life to begin with.
Did Eve expletive it up. You bet she did... BIG TIME. She was just plain stupid and let a "MALE" serpent lead her astray because her "MALE" husband had never done anything to her that was not good. And the Lord God who spoke to Adam seemingly only talked to her after she ate and they were condemned to leave the garden and she would have much pain and difficulty in delivering children...
But I digress.....
You are aware of the fact that our Holy God is the one whop has fashioned each and every spirit that is placed into man (people) when they are born?
If you were of a Calvin mind then you would believe that for every person born God predestined them...
and that predestination could be ...
According to John Calvin, predestination is God’s unchangeable decree from before the creation of the world that he would freely save some people (the elect), foreordaining them to eternal life, while the others (the reprobate) would be “barred from access to” salvation and sentenced to “eternal death (180, 184).
So in my opinion I say whether or not anyone does or does not get baptised into the Father, Son , or Holy Spirit
could not possibly have a bearing if you have been chosen to be one of the elect, or you have been barred.
(THIS IS WHY I AM NOT A PREDESTINATION PERSON BECAUSE ONCE HAVING HEARD OF HELL FIRE... AND WANTING DESPERATELY TO AVOID THAT, IF I AM NOT CHOSEN TO BE ONE OF THE ELECT THEN NOTHING I CAN DO WILL HELP ME)
Again I digress... so sorry.
Now... based on what you say " You can't "
see" that babies are spiritually wicked because you read the Bible like it's an ordinary book and with human logic."
And knowing that everyone's spirit was fashioned before the foundations of the earth... are YOU ACTUALLY SAYING THAT ALL SPIRITS THAT GOD HAS MADE AND PUT INTO THOSE FERTILIZED EGGS ARE WICKED?
For there is no other explanation of your beliefs.
But it cannot be Jeremiah who it is said... in Jeremiah 1:5 "“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
AND it did not apply to David.... where it is said in Psalm 139:16 where it is written "Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.
AND WHAT ABOUT your Savior and mine. Christ Jesus. You really think he came into this world spiritually wicked?
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself,
But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace,
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
Just one quick question before I stop.... Are you one of the religions who believes in baby baptisms? Either Catholic or Protestant? Is it because you feel that a baby baptism will remove wickedness from their spirit?
No, you don't have to answer that.
From what I have read I will say I believe over the years you have been taught wrong on this because
it does not make sense....
God has given us such an example in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. We find that Abraham pleaded to God that if there were ten righteous, would He still destroy the cities? God said no He will not destroy the cities if there ten righteous.
Common sense tells us that there should at least be more than ten righteous (babies) living at that time. But history says otherwise. because God did destroy the cities, meaning that there were no ten righteous.
What was the sin that caused Sodom and Gomorrah to be destroyed.
Were the babies living there at the time... the BABIES... sodomizing the grown men or the girl babies expletive the grown men????
10 righteous had nothing to do with babies..... they were not to the age of consent which is the age Jesus
started to come into His own.
Do you still believe babies are innocent? Why can't you believe it is God who wrote Psalms 58:3-8?
Do you even know what Psalm 58 is about....?
3 The wicked are estranged from the womb;
they go astray from birth, speaking lies.
4 They have venom like the venom of a serpent,
like the deaf adder that stops its ear,
5 so that it does not hear the voice of charmers
or of the cunning enchanter.
6 O God, break the teeth in their mouths;
tear out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord!
7 Let them vanish like water that runs away;
when he aims his arrows, let them be blunted.
8 Let them be like the snail that dissolves into slime,
like the stillborn child who never sees the sun.

(Read
Psalm 58:1-5)
When wrong is done under the form of law, it is worse than any other; especially it is grievous to behold those who profess to be children of God, joining together against any of his people. We should thank the Lord for merciful restraints; we should be more earnest in seeking renewing grace, more watchful over ourselves, and more patient under the effects of fallen nature in others. The corruption of their nature was the root of bitterness. We may see in children the wickedness of the world beginning. They go astray from God and their duty as soon as possibly they can. And how soon will little children tell lies! It is our duty to take pains to teach them, and above all, earnestly to pray for converting grace to make our children new creatures. Though the poison be within, much of it may be kept from breaking forth to injure others. When the Saviour's words are duly regarded, the serpent becomes harmless. But those who refuse to hear heavenly wisdom, must perish miserably, for ever.
Commentary on Psalm 58:6-11
(Read
Psalm 58:6-11)
David prayed that the enemies of God's church and people might be disabled to do further mischief. We may, in faith, pray against the designs of the enemies of the church. He foretells their ruin. And who knows the power of God's anger? The victories of the Just One, in his own person and that of his servants, over the enemies of man's salvation, produce a joy which springs not from revenge, but from a view of the Divine mercy, justice, and truth, shown in the redemption of the elect, the punishment of the ungodly, and the fulfilment of the promises. Whoever duly considers these things, will diligently seek the reward of righteousness, and adore the Providence which orders all thing aright in heaven and in earth.
