can you prove it without making Jesus and God out to be liars???
John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven not to do mine own will but the will of him that sent me.
Now if Jesus were God in the flesh God lied ..
If you claim that it is the Human will in Jesus then how would his Human will be different that that of God...
If you claim that his will was to do the will of God, then he lied...
John 6:35-40 [NASB]
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
What is the “will” of the Son?
- Was it His deepest desire to set aside His glory?
- Did he deeply long to suffer life as a human being in a fallen world?
- Was it His dream from eternity past to be rejected and despised by His creation?
- Perhaps his deepest will was the pleasure of being scourged and crucified to relieve the boredom of heaven?
The Second Person of the Triune Godhead agreed to the plan of the Triune Godhead to restore the lost creatures to the Triune Godhead through the giving/drawing of the Father, the work of the Son and the transformational indwelling of the Holy Spirit to draw in, transform and elevate CREATURES to CHILDREN, joint heirs in the eternal LOVE and UNITY of the Godhead.
Nobody lied.
