Could the real reason behind Jesus prophecy coming to fruition now be because of a great number of people have believed in a judgement day for so long, they have ultimately derailed a brighter future for our species and everything else that lives on this planet.

not sure which prophecy you have in mind there, but i def agree with part two being true; for the world anyway.

But fwiw we live in an empire in the decline/decadence stage, so this would natch influence our outlook i think? In the far east its basically ozzie and harriet right now, everyone’s standard of living there is rising, just a completely different feel. Yet they are still mostly walking in mud lol.

so, its such a weird comparison, seeing most everyone in the developed world, where we have everything, moaning about tomorrow, v people over there amazed at being able to cover their dirt floor.

point being that the brighter future just prolly isnt going to come like we might imagine, everyone holding hands and singing kumbaya; its three steps forward and two back, most of the time.

You are frustrated that the world is passing away, which i get; but you can let that consume you, or you can overcome that, and the choice is really up to you i think

Born in the year 1973. I have had many years of reflection. I have found nothing that could explain this reality, and I find no comfort in the explanations humans find comfort in. God is no comfort. Therefore I agonize over what I really am in this reality that any God threw me in without warning. At my age life has lost is taste, it's texture, it's excitement. It's all become dull and a grind that can not be remedied by some sales person, or whatever. I don't want to say anymore.

At this junction point of my life I am blaming myself for believing altogether. Had I not been a practicing belief physician, I could have turned things around far sooner.
