You didn't get the contemporary reference. That's sad.
There is no "contemporary" or otherwise with God's Word. Well, unless you consider it all contemporary, regardless of any time reference, which is true in the case of God, the great I AM, and His Word, which stands/endures forever.

Grace and peace to you.

When you and your kind point your finger at "the Jews", and belittle "ethnic Israel", and all the other garbage false corrupt racist provision that reworks God's words that follows, because the full truth counters that racist Satanic argument, the finger of God is pointing at those serpents, whose father is the Devil.

And their taking afront at being identified by we indwelt eternally redeemed in Christ Christians who recognize the JEWISH Messiah, are not concerned with the sulphurous breath that belches outrage when the racist antisemitic are exposed and say they're upset about that.

:D

The only apparent bigot here seems to be you! No one is belittling ethnic Israel, or if you prefer Israel in unbelief. The only garbage being promoted to unbelieving Israel comes from so called Christian Zionists, like you who feel vindicated in promoting unbiblical doctrine toward them. There comes a point in our understanding of biblical truths where we might be deceived into believing a lie. But when we continue to promote doctrine, we KNOW is not of the truth, but of the father of lies, we are no longer the deceived, but have become the deceiver! You need to check you outrage against truth, for you are no friend of Israel in unbelief!

After reading my post, obviously Paul does.

Notice how Paul doesn't sugar coat it for unbelieving Jews! He tells them without apology that as long as they remain in unbelief they shall be damned. He doesn't give unbelieving Jews false hope by telling them not to worry for they shall all in the end be saved.

Trust the science..lol
My FB nephew has a
sticker on his 1977 Camaro that he inherited. " I IDENTIFY AS A PRIUS"
:jest:
He bought it on Amazon after reading FB's hundreds of genders options policy.

I identify as a billionaire whose 20 years younger than his actual age. I'll get back to you when that kicks in. ;)

It does not say all things were made by Jesus in John 1:3.
John 1:3, Peterlag, says ~ and again, I'm quoting ~ "All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made." All things means all things, Peterlag, not, somehow, "all things except for one thing."

The verse does not say "In the beginning was Jesus."
In effect it does, because in John 1:14, John says, "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us," and then in verses 15 through 18, finally names Him, specifically at the end of verse 17.

The "Word" is not synonymous with Jesus, or even the "Messiah."
Not in definition, no, but they all irrefutably refer to the same Person, giving us a full picture of Who He is, His relationship to and with the Father, and His unmatchable qualities and attributes.

Grace and peace to you.

Those whom He hath called are not Christians?

What is the difference between those whom He hath called, and Christians?
He called Jews and Gentiles to be Christian. He did not call Christians to be Jewish Christians. And He did not call certain people because the New Testament has places where it talks about those who God called. I think God called everyone and only certain people answered the call. In Ephesians 1:4, it says God chose us in Christ beforehand, and in Revelation 17:8, it says certain names have been written in a book from the foundation of the world. It's the group, the body of Christ that is foreordained from the foundation of the world, and not specific individuals selected by God for salvation.

John 1:14
The "Word" is the wisdom, plan or purpose of God and the Word became flesh as Jesus Christ. Thus, Jesus Christ was the Word in the flesh, which is shortened to the Word for ease of speaking. Scripture is also the Word in writing. Everyone agrees that the Word in writing had a beginning. So did the Word in the flesh. In fact, the Greek text of Matthew 1:18 says that very clearly: "Now the beginning of Jesus Christ was in this manner..." The modern Greek texts all read "beginning" in Matthew 1:18. Birth is considered an acceptable translation since the beginning of some things is birth, and so most translations read birth. Nevertheless, the proper understanding of Matthew 1:18 is the beginning of Jesus Christ. In the beginning God had a plan, a purpose, which became flesh when Jesus was conceived.

And that's a problem because???
Because when we read the Scriptures we need to interpret the meaning as the words are used in the text. When and where we start adding all kinds of our ideas will be the day there will be nothing left of the Scriptures. When God says the saints He does not mean Jews. When He says the church of God in the New Testament He does not mean Gentiles.

I don't know from where you arrive at your doctrine! Nothing is taken away or added to Scripture by using the phrase "Gentile Christians"! That is in fact what all who are of faith but are not Jews are called, even if that truth does not explicitly agree with you.

It's not a matter of it agreeing with me. It's a matter of not agreeing with God since that language of "Gentile Christians" is not mentioned in the New Testament.

Yes, that language is mentioned throughout the New Testament. Just because we don't find the explicit phrase "Gentile Christians" does not mean there is no mention of Gentiles being saved and called Christians. That's why it seems very bizarre to some of us as to why you are making this mountain out of such a tiny mole hill?

If Gentiles are saved then they are no longer Gentiles is the language the Bible is using. It's a big deal because without guys like me there will be guys like you posting data about Romans 11 and saying it's about Christians when the subject matter is not about Christians.
