How is it that many Christians are in support of this latest Supreme Court landmark ruling on gay "marriage" when you consider that the principle sin of Sodom was sodomy, an abomination to which history has given over the very name of an entire city characterized by the same, and consequently "suffered the vengeance of eternal fire" for their refusal to turn from this and other such sins?
The Cross did not change God's opinion of sin, nor is Grace a license to continue in it. Homosexuals, like all sinners, must understand that when God awakens the heart to our great need for His love and forgiveness, we who have accepted Him as our Savior and Lord must learn to "walk as He walked", surrendering to Him as both our Savior Who saves us from, not in, our sin, and our Lord to Whom we render our obedience.
Supporting the gay agenda, which prominent lesbian activist Masha Gessen has openly admitted the purpose of is to destroy Biblical marriage (listen to her speak as she receives very jubilant applause from her audience here: https://youtu.be/n9M0xcs2Vw4), is actually comforting and affirming homosexuals in their sin and if we love them at all, we will lovingly plead with them to turn from it, because the Bible is clear that "hate speech" is not warning homosexuals of the consequences for their sin, but words that do the opposite of warning them of this danger.(Leviticus 19:17 KJV)
