@Angelina I saw an article about a Christian young lady who liked Spurgeon so much that she included a Spurgeon quote among her tattoos.

(I guess you're not into that sort of thing now, though.)

Well I do live in NZ and ta moko is becoming popular again particularly with young people who want to keep their traditions and carry the lineage of their ancestors on display.

I like Spurgeon, had a whole book of his sermons on my old e-reader but it went wrong and decided to get a different make of reader ( went from a Kobo to a Kindle ) so the sermons were lost !!

@Angelina Interesting; all the young ppl with whom I have spoken with Bible verses/refs. tattooed seem to have had them done for witness tool reasons, because they easily become talking points. I suppose in theory also a Bible ref. could be gotten in the style of a ta moko: like with a cursive symbolic lettering in Maori style.
