Luke 9:58,60,61
58 Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
60 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”
61 Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”
Jesus was always on the move, proclaiming the Kingdom of God, never looking back.
Jesus was always moved according to the Fathers will, to proclaim the Truth without doubt.
This is the cost of discipleship; to let go of everything for the Truth
Matthew 8:24-26
24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.
25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
Jesus was able to lay his head internally more so than any other, for He could remain rested regardless of the drama surrounding Him. Nothing could take Him away from the kingdom of God.
This is the result of discipleship; to become Everything True _ the kingdom of God.
