Enoch said >> "Some of the events under the final 7th trumpet judgment correspond to the 6th seal judgments."

No big deal! Like I said, the sixth seal is merely a preview of what is to come, and for sure, all of the preview events will be repeated big time when the 7th seal has been opened.

You will never convince me that the 6th seal follows the 7th seal, as if God is in some way mathematically challenged!! That makes no sense to me.

I posted a small correction for G:4578 where I said that the English word that should be used for the Greek word "Seismos" is turmoil. Revelation 16:17-21 makes more sense when turmoil is used in the NT as I demonstrated.

Rev 16:17-21 has happen over the last 100 + years and is describing WW1 & 2, such as the city of Jerusalem being divided into three parts in 1948 and control of Jerusalem was mandated to the Arabs, Israel and the UN. In 1926 Iraq was recognised as a country once more over the land of the Chaldeans, i.e. Babylon. During WW1 cities and nations around Jerusalem fell to the British forces which included the Australian and New Zealand armies with the last charge of men on horses made which helped to win one particular battle in WW1. The mountain represent the various religions in the area. After the wars many boats fled away from the middle east. Both world wars are know for the level of armament used during both world wars. A fairly accurate description of the artillery sieges that rained shells onto the battle fields.

Now the order of the seven bowl judgements are given to us in the reverse order of them occurring as if John was walking back through time. This is the only way to make sense of the bowl judgements in Rev 16.

The Sixth Bowl Judgement is still unfolding and the armies of the world empires and their kings will be assembled shortly at Armageddon to be judged, possibly within 25 years.

But then others will have their theories and timelines and wisdom which is not wisdom at all.

    Shalom

It is questionable as to whether this totally nutty idea even deserves a response!

Can you provide a better explanation of the events in the seventh Bowl Judgement and correlate them to the History of the last centaury. They are a match.

My Grandfather went to Egypt on his way to the western front, during WW1. We have the pictures and record to prove the case. What are you basing you rebuttal on. "I have never heard of this idea before therefore it must be a totally nutty idea." Is it simply a feeling in your waters?

Here is Revelation 16 with the Bowl Judgements given in the order that they will occur. StanB your thought are welcome.

    Revelation 16

The Seven Bowls in the order that they occur

16:1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth."

First Bowl judgement to occur in their time order.
Seventh Bowl: The Earth Utterly Shaken
    Already fulfilled.

17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done!" 18 And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was great turmoil, such a mighty and great turmoil as had not occurred since men were on the earth. 19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. 20 Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.

Second Bowl judgement to occur in their time order.
    Sixth Bowl: Euphrates Dried Up
This Bowl judgement is happening now in time before the end of this present age.

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 "Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame."

16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

Third of the Bowl judgement to occur in their time order.
    Fifth Bowl: Darkness and Pain
This bowl judgement will occur after the first 1000 years of the Millennium Age.

10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. 11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores and did not repent of their deeds.

Fourth of the Bowl judgement to occur in their time order.
    Fourth Bowl: Men Are Scorched
This bowl judgement will occur after the after the Fifth Bowl judgement.

8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

Fifth of the Bowl judgement to occur in their time order.
Third Bowl: The Waters Turn to Blood
This judgement follows the fourth Bowl judgement.

4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying:

    "You are righteous, O Lord,
The One who is and who was and who is to be,
Because You have judged these things.

6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,
And You have given them blood to drink.
For it is their just due.
    "

7 And I heard another from the altar saying, "Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments."

Sixth of the Bowl judgement to occur in their time order.
Second Bowl: The Sea Turns to Blood
This bowl Judgement follows the third bowl judgement.

3 Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died.

Seventh of the Bowl judgement to occur in their time order.
    First Bowl: Loathsome Sores
The final bowl judgement before the time of the judging of the nations.

2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.

I would not want to think I should play with their order to get them to fit ideas I have about things. I'd rather say I don't understand.

Could someone in the First Century understand about satellites and the like? Could they read Revelation with profit? Could they be blessed by reading it? We are told elsewhere how John means by "stars." Other prophetic revelations like Joseph's dream have also used "stars" in the same way. Why make things so complicated?

Yes but there are only a few like you who may be that honest.

But if you read the progression of the bowl judgements you can see them fitting into the order of other events in the Book of Revelations.

Compare the trumpets with the vials. I think you'll find they follow the same order. The seals seem to follow a slightly different order; but the trumpets and vials the same.

    Hi Enoch,

What I generally find is that differences in understanding Scripture, and fully true of prophecy, I think, these differences generally coming down to one person holding to the exact meaning of the word, and another person giving allowance for it to mean something different from the face meaning.

I'm not saying that's never appropriate, because I certainly believe there are times it is. In "phenomenal language", were people are describing what seems to be happening, and in descriptive language, where people are describing the appearance of something, I generally pay more attention to those details.

But then I also find other reasons to see these as different events. One of those is my reading of Revelation as primarily chonilogical, given the timing words contained in the text.

    Much love!

The way you perceive these things is entirely different than mine. I cannot identify with any of the things you are saying.

Perhaps you may need to look into the History of the Middle East a little more closely to see if the history of the last centaury matches what is contained in Rev 15:17-21, as very much thumb nail descriptions, of the events listed as well as WW1 & 2. Australian troops in WW1 had a very close role in the Middle Eastern campaigns.

Was Babylon remembered once more after 2,000 + years of being devastated and desolated by the Greek Empire around the year 120 BC when even the building and people were carted off to another place in the Greek Empire when Iraq was recognised as the kingdom over the land of Babylon in 1926.

Was Jerusalem partitioned into three areas in 1948 and placed under the control of three entities.

Both right really. The Seals Jesus opened in Rev.6 is like a preview. It's information about what is coming. And events in the latter part of the 6th Seal definitely are events to occur on the 7th Trumpet and 7th Vial.

What you guys aren't understanding is that our Lord Jesus in His Olivet discourse only gave 7 main signs of the end, and the signs given in His Revelation are but parallels of those same 7 signs. The last sign He gave in His Olivet discourse was that of His 2nd coming and gathering of His saints.

That is why John called the falling, burning satellites; stars.
So all the wars, famines, plagues that we have experienced over this age, things that have brought mankind to the brink of extinction, plus the deaths of millions of martyrs; bear no relation to the first Five Seals? This notion is just too unbelievable!
These things HAVE happened, there is nowhere for them all in the end times.

But we do await the Sixth Seal; the event that will commence all that is prophesied to happen before Jesus Returns.
Then the Seventh Seal is a time gap, nothing more, nothing less. Then it is just during the final 3 1/2 years before Jesus Returns; that the 7 Trumpets and the 7 Bowls of the Great Tribulation will happen.

Come now, John talks about stars in other places in Revelation. It shouldn't be a mystery what stars mean.

'asters' the Greek word, normally translated 'stars', means any cosmic object; meteors, asteroids, comets, planets, the actual stars and now, our hundreds of satellites.
Maybe what will happen at the Sixth Seal will be a meteor shower, but we know that the pressure wave of a CME does push our satellites into lower orbits and can cause their crash back to earth.

The world, now once again as in the days of Noah, is facing a dramatic and world changing event.
Not knowing about it and being prepared for it, is not how we should be. 2 Thessalonians 5:3-5

You're rambling again, creating totally irrelevant statements against what I said, showing you're not interested in what I actually said, but are more interested in trying to destroy my credibility.

    These are the End Times!

It is amazing to think that we are now, at the very edge of the end of this age. Soon we will experience the fulfilment of many prophesies. The ancient prophets spoke of how all the Lord’s people; Israelites of God, faithful Christians from every race, nation and language, will go to live in their heritage. Ezekiel 37:21 ...I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own Land. John see them all there in Revelation 7:9.

This Second Exodus began in 1948, with the return of part of the Southern Kingdom of Judah into part of the Land. Now we are seeing the world turning against the State of Israel and the emergence of an Islamic confederation, that is busily preparing for an attack to: “erase all remembrance of them”.
Then the Lord will act once again in His creation, to fulfil Psalm 83, Habakkuk 3:12-14, Revelation 6:12-17 and many other Bible passages. This clearance of the “evil neighbors” as described in Jeremiah 12:14-17, will allow every faithful Christian Israelite of God, Galatians 3:26-29 to join the remnant of their brethren in all of the holy Land.

I think the U.S. is the only true friend Israel has, everyone else is trying to appease the Mohammedans.

The Sixth Seal has already been opened and the things contained therein have begun unfolding:

"...there was a great earthquake..." -- The Great Lisbon Earthquake of 1755 which shook the globe.

"...and the sun became black..." -- The famous "Dark Day" of 1780, where the entire Eastern seaboard of the U.S. went pitch black for absolutely no scientific reason whatsoever a blackness that was referred to as an "Egyptian Darkness" for how it was a darkness of Biblical proportion.

"...the moon became as blood..." -- The famous night of the "Blood Moon" which followed the Dark Day, a unique blood moon in that there is NO CELESTIAL explanation whatsoever.

"...and the stars fell unto the Earth..." -- The famous Leonid Meteor Shower of 1833, where there never was before nor since such an unbelievable display where a completely of shooting stars - 100,000/hour - and was so bright that night that it was said a man could stand outside and read a newspaper without any other light than the glow of the shower....and also the that inexplicable phenomenon which had the meteors SHOOTING FROM ONE SPECIFIC POINT IN THE HEAVENS which makes the event nothing short of supernatural.

We are now living between verse 13 and verse 14 and when the "heavens depart as a scroll", Jesus will pierce the clouds and take His faithful commandment keepers home :) !!!

The 7 Churches, 7 Seals, and 7 Trumpets all parallel each other and these signs in the heavens are what prompted the "great religious awakening" of the 19th century which led to the discovery that our Savior is soon to come, contrary to the FALSE ideas of that time that Jesus would not return until the 1,000 years in which we were supposedly entering expired. You're a victim of Jesuit Futurism, friend, so please abandon it and consider Historicism, the teaching of the Protestant Reformers at www.Historicism.com.

    Your belief, Phoneman; not mine.
We DO have a future and it is comprehensively told to us thru the Prophets. For our good, not harm, in our home of the holy Land. Ezekiel 34:11-16, Amos 9:13-15
This idea is a totally unbelievable and un scriptural fable.
The atmosphere will be pushed aside by a massive fireball from the sun, the Sword of the Lord, as Isaiah 34:4-5 plainly says.
