Paul says all Israel will be saved, so I assume God has a way of forgiving people this kind of thing.what do you mean repent after his death?
David was not holy? With God all things are possible. But without Jesus we can do nothing.
Mankind was incapable of conforming to God's ways in holiness until Jesus came to give His life to do it with. Jesus is the way...the truth AND the life we are to abide in to fulfill all righteousness...including that which is inside holiness.
he does but not after death repentance from us has to happen before deathPaul says all Israel will be saved, so I assume God has a way of forgiving people this kind of thing.
Who said repentance has to happen before death?he does but not after death repentance from us has to happen before death
David was not holy?
Psalm 86:2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.
4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
6 Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.
Who said repentance has to happen before death?
How can all Israel be saved when so many have died in their sins?
David was not holy?
Psalm 86:2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.

Sometimes we do not understand things that others do understand or our understanding is completely different than theirs. Understanding this, should we not be very slow to conclude that they are making things up? Of course you believe you are right, as we all do, but perhaps she believes that she is, even if you don't understand or agree with her words. Are you a qualified judge? Am I? Who but God is?
After some were sent by priests and Pharisees to take hold of Jesus they came back without him. When questioned by their superiors, they answered, "Never man spake like this man." John 7:46
The officers did not understand Jesus much of the time and neither did the priests and Pharisees who thought they understood the written scriptures very well... Do you understand Jesus so perfectly? I certainly don't.
Someone recently started another thread, Why do so many Christians vehemently disagree? You should consider carefully that question and what God's answer is before drawing your conclusion, "You just make things up". Perhaps you have just have never heard someone speak like she speaks... and what she speaks really comes through her connection with God? Is it so? God knows.
Even if you have what you consider the correct answer, is a response such as yours appropriate?
You seem to contradict your prior post where you said people today could have "inside holiness."The English translation is taking liberties with the text. The Hebrew says....Chasid...as in Hasidic Jews. Are Hasidic Jews holy? Well maybe outwardly. But Chasid means to be loyal to the covenant.
The Hebrew word for holy is Kadosh/ Kodesh.
You will find that only God is holy.
Rev. 15:4 Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.”
You want only passages with kodesh? Again I ask if God was asking the impossible? With God all things are possible. But without Jesus we can do nothing.
Mankind was incapable of conforming to God's ways in holiness until Jesus came to give His life to do it with. Jesus is the way...the truth AND the life we are to abide in to fulfill all righteousness...including that which is inside holiness.
Greeting VJ,Thank you John. The crazy talk didn’t hurt. Not that I don’t care what others say but I’m fully aware it sounds crazy. Several years ago while seeing a counselor they told me I have a fear based personality. Later God clarified this as a spirit of fear. As the Samaritan woman by the well, she ran in to tell them John 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
Crazy talk is being ruled by the spirit of fear. I’ve seen irrational-crazy and something new 2 Timothy 1:7
[7] For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Paul said some of Israel were blinded on purpose, to benefit the Gentiles, no?I have thought, given that I can see we
make the same mistakes as Israel did, that this has something to do with it. (Concluding all in sin so He can have mercy on all.) But also keep in mind that not all of Israel are truly Israel, but those with circumcised hearts. Jesus said about one man, here is a TRUE Israelite...
Excellent!
I agree.
Psalm 63 is similar also, in a wonderful way.Isaiah 58:11 And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
^ where good things (fruit)grows and spring forth.
John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water (that fails not)that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Paul says all Israel will be saved, so I assume God has a way of forgiving people this kind of thing.
Amen...agree...I believe the likes of Uzzah Lost life in this world, cut short ..= punishment...but not in the next. Punishment enough. Not punishment twice.
Just let any fear you have be expressed in a fear of not doing what God wants you to do. Remember that men called Jesus a devil. He simply continued following the will of the Father, once saying to his closest followers:Thank you John. The crazy talk didn’t hurt. Not that I don’t care what others say but I’m fully aware it sounds crazy. Several years ago while seeing a counselor they told me I have a fear based personality. One can see by the numbers that left Egypt in Moses' day, many Gentiles were "added" to Israel. Those were "wild" branches grafted on, of course. So it has been for a long time. That's not what "All Israel" means. Not all are Israel who are of Israel (according to the flesh). The Christian Gentiles coming into the commonwealth of Israel is the completion of Israel.....God's Israel...(not man's political entity) to fill in what is lacking by appealing to every tribe, nation and tongue with the truth.
Ephraim is the church that comes from all nations...and Ephraim and Judah are now "one stick" in God's hand...having One Shepherd.
One can see by the numbers that left Egypt in Moses' day, many Gentiles were "added" to Israel. Those were "wild" branches grafted on, of course. So it has been for a long time.
The point I was making was that the "natural" branches which were cut off would be grafted back on. Gentiles were added on have no such guarantee.
Romans 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Did you see my other post about "holy" or are you ignoring it, again trying to deflect?
