So yes, the heart of the snare, people fall into when it comes to the anti-Christ, is that the anti-Christ aggrandizes the demand of the World - not that the World be a greater "World", but that the World be more greatly "the same". In other words, the World wants to refuse the change, that the Lord brings to it. Whereas, the anti-Christ (compared to Christ) asserts that the World is more and more the same, even since Christ. What this means for believers in the World, is that their faith is considering more and more unrevealing. That's not the Faith's doing, but the spirit of anti-Christ in the World, which comes forth into the World, to establish what will be the same, for everyone that will not allow their faith to be tested.
How can we (the Faith) be tested, if the World does not know how our faith differs? The Holy Spirit, is the only answer. If we have the Holy Spirit, then as our faith is tested, we can reveal more of the Spirit of the Gospel, which is completely set apart from the World, even now. The World does not suspect the change is there, in the Holy Spirit, because it can't see or know Him, essentially believing that He's not there. The Holy Spirit may testify that the Gospel was there from the outset, but all the World is ready to do, is move the snare. If all the World does is move the snare, eventually the World will be tangled up and all the people of the World will be cast into the pit, with the Devil they are chained to.
The point is, with every new move of the snare, the World is less and less able to deny that the Gospel communicates change. In muted fury, the World will determine to sire a child that represents some kind of change, from what the world was - in doing so, they will insult the Male Child (spoken of in Revelation) whose faith was rejected on the very same grounds. It will be said "you shall see Me no more, until you say 'blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord'". The world will mourn and grief will come upon its parents, who no longer determine to have the Devil's children. The question of who will be in authority, will be ceded to God, who in turn grants it to the Holy Spirit to council the Lord.
The whole question of "why is everyone's faith, the same?" as far as the World is concerned, will be a question of "how similar is your faith, to the Holy Spirit?" Those that have died for their faith in the Holy Spirit, will come forth to inherit a place in the Earth, that is not cornered, not by questions of how much their faith is the same, nor by doubts that it is for the Devil anyway. The World will concede that the growth of faith, is renewing the World. This it will defend staunchly. God will overturn the curse, that was brought to an end at the Cross. So there will be Peace for a time; the Holy Spirit comforting in many ways, He was not able to do before.
