If anyone has been to Israel and understands the political situation there...

The ability to construct (after demolition of the Dome of the Rock) without upsetting everyone in the world is not going to be easy. The whole foundation of the Temple Mount needs to be redone...that ain't happening quickly because of the treasure trove of archaeology in the dirt.

Let's just say that a new Temple is an impossibility.

I have been to Israel and yes; in the present situation, it is impossible for the Israelis to build a new Temple.
Basically the majority don't want it because they are atheist's or the Haredi Judaism believers refuse to even tread on the Temple Mount.

Marks has it right, there is coming soon; a sudden destruction, which will be the Lord's terrible Day of vengeance and wrath. The whole lot will be gone after that Day, enabling the faithful people of God to migrate to and build a new Temple. Zechariah 6:15, Jeremiah 12:14, Zephaniah 1:1-18

When the false-Messiah appears, it is written he will fulfill the "abomination of desolation" from the Book of Daniel that Lord Jesus quoted (Matthew 24). That event per Daniel 11 is about the final Antichrist coming to power in Jerusalem, ending the sacrifices, and instead placing an idol abomination inside a standing temple in Jerusalem.

The orthodox Jews already have the materials ready to build another temple. It is pointed to in God's Word for the end PRIOR to Christ's 2nd coming (Rev.11; 2 Thess.2). If God's Word declares a new temple in order to fulfill the "abomination of desolation", and It does, then that is what is going to happen, regardless of what man thinks.

The preachers in Christian Churches that do not... believe another Jewish temple will be built for the end in Jerusalem for the coming Antichrist to sit in, are DECEIVED, and are not staying within God's Word. They are prepared to tell their congregations to flee to the coming pseudo-Christ that comes first to sit in that rebuilt temple during this present world.

So HOW do we know when our Lord Jesus comes to build the True Temple of Zechariah 6:12-13? EASY! If you are still... in your flesh body here on earth, and have NOT been changed to your "spiritual body" which Apostle Paul taught that's to happen on the day of Christ's return, then you know ANY rebuilt Jewish temple in Jerusalem for this present world is a FAKE! It's as simple as that.

    Ok...
But I think that you have missed the point.

The only way a new building is going to be able to go up is if they rebuild the entire Temple Mount.
The tunnels and earthquakes have completely destabilized the thing.

Now due to the laws in Israel about antiquities first things first is that a very careful excavation with documentation, sifting, and more documentation has to occur.
Every last shoe nail must be accounted for. (Look like copper staples)

    So...

Meanwhile the entire Moslem world will be upset. (From Palestinian to Portugal and Phillipines. )

This isn't happening without war...and chaos by the scientific community.

How often does God's Word declare a thing His servants questioned as being possible, but was indeed possible? The limitations you are trying to place with the temple mount are in your own mind, and not from understanding the power of God.

    Well,
It's either that or a misunderstanding of prophecy.

Not saying that either is true or untrue...
    Only time will tell.

I'm only suggesting that Jesus'arrival the first time was massively missed.
The signs of His return might be as well.

It's definitely a misunderstanding on your part, because as it is written is exactly HOW it is going to happen, irregardless of whether or not we see it as being possible today. Sarah doubted it possible for her to get pregnant in her old age too, yet God made it happen.

And no, the return of Lord Jesus the second time will definitely... NOT be missed! Not me declaring that, God's Word declares it. And it's emphatic that is so, as God's Word uses certain metaphors about that 'day' to really get that point across! So someone even suggesting His 2nd coming might be in secret shows they don't really know His written Word about these things, or... they intentionally intend to go against God's Word in order to deceive, which those of the devil's servants exist in some pulpits too.

    OK,
Stop lecturing me. I'm just trying to have a conversation with you...
I'm not saying that you are right or wrong... just that if the construction process was to SOMEHOW begin tomorrow it still will take at least a decade or more for it to get to a point for a foundation to be built that they can begin to construct the Temple itself.

That's part of what I am saying.

Also I am completely unaware of any scripture that clearly states that a third Temple will be constructed just before the end of the world.

So maybe you can start there.

Then...since the Temple doesn't exist today and it was prophesied to be destroyed but it's destruction is not recorded in scripture.
Where exactly is the destruction event related to us in scripture?
And then is it's restoration recorded in the same place?

I'm not lecturing, I am revealing your error in not knowing the Scriptures about this matter. There is a difference.

As for considering construction methods, there shouldn't be any debate over that today, with how modern technology is today.

Daniel 11:31 reveals the "vile person" will end sacrifices and place the abomination idol, and Lord Jesus warned us about it in His Olivet discourse (I don't pay attention to idiots who say Christ's Olivet discourse isn't for His Church, since He was speaking specifically to His Church upon the Mount of Olives, even the very foundation of His Church, and those Signs are the Seals of Revelation 6 He gave to the seven Churches). Therefore.......... the "abomination of desolation" event of the placing of an idol abomination in Jerusalem REQUIRES a standing Jewish temple. That event did not come to pass with Titus either.

Revelation 11:1-2 reveals this standing temple for the end in Jerusalem. That Chapter is specifically about events in Jerusalem during the time of God's two witnesses on the 6th Trumpet - 2nd Woe period. The 1260 days they prophesy is the time of "great tribulation" for the end of this world. Their time coincides with the end leading up to the day of Christ's return with the 7th trumpet - 3rd woe as written there. The Gentiles are given to trample the holy city for 42 months as written there, which is the same 1260 day time period, but figured per the lunar reckoning instead. In Revelation 13, we are told the "dragon" will have power over all nations, and even the saints, for a period of 42 months.

ALL... of those things point directly to the time of the very end just prior to Christ's return, a time Lord Jesus called "great tribulation". And no mystery, since He showed in Revelation 12:7-17 about Satan with his angels being booted out of the heavenly down to this earth for the end.

Even the Revelation 17 Scripture reveals the final beast king will be the one who ascends out of the bottomless pit and goes into perdition, which is a direct reference to the devil himself. And Rev.11 tells us at the end the testimony by God's two witnesses, they will be killed by the one who ascends out of the bottomless pit. That's about Satan. Even Rev.9 shows us who the king over the bottomless pit is, and two more of his many titles.

But no, many today are too busy playing church instead of listening to God in His Word about these things that coming upon the whole world.

The abomination that causes desolation did happen in 66 AD when Herod placed the Roman Eagle over the entrance/gate complex into the Temple and effigies of Caesar all over Jerusalem and retaining walls of the Temple complex.

The symbolism saying that Jews only get to worship God because Rome/Caesar said they could.

A man named Menalaus and his followers cut it down with an axe...and paid for it with their lives...which started a series of events that led to a 3½ year siege of the Temple with the food stores burned in the first hours of the siege...which ended with the soldiers prying the stonework apart to get the gold leaf between the stones.

This is recorded in "Wars of the Jews" by Flavious Josephus.

That's exactly what Jesus was referring to as history played out...the Siege went all the way to Lasekh... meaning that as people went into Jerusalem they would be trapped there with no food...for three and a half years. The first ones who tried to escape/surrender the siege first got a hold of some of the gold Temple money and swallowed it to try and smuggle it out.
But they were fed by the Romans and got caught trying to retrieve the gold. All those afterwards were hacked to pieces to search for the gold coins they were believed to have swallowed. (Whether they did or not)

Basically, no one escaped the siege unscathed...those left inside resorted to canabalism.

    It's a horrible story.
And the timing Jesus gave would have been enough time for those that believed him to escape unharmed.

    Rebuilding the Temple

The prophetic Scriptures clearly predict that the Third Temple will be built and the sacrifices reinstated, in the final years leading up to the Return of the Messiah. It is clear, too, that there will be more than just the Jewish people living in the Land of Greater Israel. All the Israelites from all 12 tribes of Israel, plus those grafted in, will migrate to New Israel soon after the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, the terrible Day of fire and storms, that will clear and cleanse most of the Middle East.

The place of the new Temple, will be to the North of the existing Dome of the Rock, because this is in the direct line of the now sealed Eastern gate. The Bible, the Torah, and Josephus, all agree that the Temple was in that location.

The Jewish sage, Moses Maimonides, known as Rambam, declared that the Temple will be rebuilt and the exiles from around the world gathered back into the Promised Land.

The Messiah will appear and re-establish the glory of King David.

In the Talmud Yerushalmi, Rabbi Acha says; The Beit Hamikdash [Holy Temple] will be built first, before the advent of the Kingdom of David.

The Pnei Moshe states; The Land will be settled first, then the people will become prosperous, after that they will build the Temple and finally, the Messiah will come.

In the Mar’eh Punim the Gaon Moshe Margolis wrote that when Jacob predicted the future of Judah, he foretold that the Temple would be rebuilt first, then the Messiah would come. But the Jews are not prophesied to build the new Temple.

The whole scenario of the end times, has a logical sequence to it. Now in the latter days,, we can see how things are happening that will see a confederation of Islamic states and entities that will be motivated to get rid of the ‘ cancer ‘ in their midst, that is the State of Israel. The moment of their attack, is the moment that God will intervene. This great Day of the Lord, will take the form of a natural event: a Coronal Mass Ejection, a massive sunstrike of cosmic particles, causing intense heat and electrical storms. The attacking armies will be destroyed by their own weaponry, as they all explode before firing. This literally fulfils the prayer in Psalms 83:13-18

Many prophesies speak of the regeneration of the Land of Greater Israel, “in a very short while”, Isaiah 29:17, after this great clearance and cleansing of the entire area.

Christian Israelites- “His people, who love the Lord and follow in His ways” will then gather “on the mountains of Samaria”. This is described in Ezekiel 20:34-38, Psalms 107

Over 40 prophesies describe how God’s holy people, every faithful Christian, will live in peace and security in their own Land. At last, they will be as God originally intended, “a light to the nations”, they will “exemplify My Holiness for all to see”. Ezekiel 39:27-29 [The attack by Gog/ Magog will come during this period]

WE will build the Third Temple, Zechariah 6:15, and “the splendor of this latter House will surpass that of the former”. Haggai 2:9 Zechariah 8:9-13 has wonderful promises of restoration and redemption; Courage! Do not lose heart!

Where Rambam was a very unique man and had lots to teach...I'm not exactly sure of his prophetic role. His Tenakh is in pieces and scattered around after the building housing it got shelled during WW2.
Bits keep showing up...but a lot is still missing. The recovered bits are stored in the Shrine of the Book where the Isaiah scroll is displayed. But a lot of other writings of his were stored there too...they are just as lost.

    But my major points are:
that there's no way in this political climate that the Temple can be started.

If SOMEHOW it was to be started the complete demolition of the Temple Mount is necessary due to all the tunnels from over the centuries needs to be excavated.

The excavation of the Temple Mount will be tediously slow due to sifting through every shovel of dirt for all the history the dirt contains.
The existing buildings contain cedars and cypress beams from King David's and Solomon's time period. They will need to be preserved and studied.

Then there's all the infighting amongst the Jews themselves. Who, when, where, why, and how amongst the various factions is going to cause riots amongst themselves.

That's if the Moslems give up the site...many would rather die than do so....in the numbers of millions of suicide bombings.

If you think I'm kidding... around the corner at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre there's been absolute chaos for centuries over renovations... even moving a chair eight inches caused a riot. It's not going to be rainbows and lollipops getting the thing built. In fact a workman's ladder has been left for over 200 years on a ledge.

The whole place is siesmacally active. So the simple rock retaining wall won't work...it's been falling apart. It's a wonder more people haven't been hurt than what have been.

It's going to require a lot of time to engineer and construct a new Retaining Wall...new gate complexes, and new buildings.

If Gog/Magog invade and are destroyed by God involving cataclysmic earthquake, Muslim enemies will not be a problem, and building and archeological considerations could be erased.

And given the opportunity, I think Israel could have a temple standing in record time. Especially on heels of the supernatural destruction of their enemies.

    Much love!

From the Phillipines to North Africa and all of the Middle East...
Don't forget Turkey and Eastern Europe and others throughout Europe.

Then there's the Moslem in North America and South America and Canada.

    It's a popular religion.

No earthquake is going to fix the whole world.

Not just and earthquake, but a tectonic plate shift, probably with a pole reversal, accompanied by extreme heat, powerful storms and tsunamis.
Exactly as the over 100 Bible prophesies tell us will happen on the Day the Lord sends His vengeance and wrath upon the earth.

Why don't people know about it?
It is not the G/M attack, that comes later and the Jewish State of Israel will no longer exist after that Day. Zephaniah 1:1-18, +

The "abomination of desolation" Jesus quoted from the Book of Daniel did NOT... happen in 70 A.D. by the Romans. The idea that the Romans fulfilled that is a LIE from the doctrines of men (mostly Preterism and Historicism). Reason is, it MUST happen in a STANDING TEMPLE with the placing of an idol abomination inside it with its false worship forced upon the Jews. The Romans did none of that, so there's no use in you continuing their lie. Any serious Bible student that understands the Daniel prophecy about the "abomination of desolation" knows it requires a standing Jewish temple in Jerusalem for it to be fulfilled.

    Matt 24:15
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand..
    KJV

Per the Signs Lord Jesus gave in His Olivet discourse, His 2nd coming is to follow that "abomination of desolation" event. That idol abomination He showed signals the time of "great tribulation". His coming is to be immediately after that like He said, in the generation that would see those things. His 2nd coming did NOT happen in the days when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the temple. You have latched onto just one of many false doctrines of men designed to lead the gullible astray. You don't stay in God's Word for yourself but let others do your thinking in it for you. That's why you would believe and push their idiotic false doctrine about the "abomination of desolation", even with your wrongly referring to it as meaning a literal destruction abusing the word 'desolation', when it's actually about spiritual desolation of God's sanctuary on earth by the setting up of idol worship in it.

The expression "coming on clouds" as stated in the 18th Psalm is a reference to war.

David came on clouds to his enemies.

When Jesus gave the Olivet discourse He was giving an accurate depiction of the events that were to happen.

The Christian contingent in Jerusalem left after the Roman Eagle and Caesar's picture plates were erected. They fled to the Gadarenes area....where the once crazy man had led a revival and welcomed the fleeing Christians with opened arms.

After Menalaus and friends died the Romans sent a contingent of soldiers into the Temple to collect a huge sum of Gold...they did it by force to pay for the "damages".
The Jews then all got copper pennies and started pelting the soldiers with the pennies saying "coppers for Caesar" ...as if Caesar was poor. But they threw the pennies kinda hard....it erupted into yet another bloodbath and riot with many people dying.

It was after that riot (day or two) that the Jews got everyone into the Temple to hold up... many Jews were running through Jerusalem with swords to kill Roman soldiers...who then pulled back...collected themselves and then attacked.
They cut down the stone arch bridge that led to one gate and blocked the rest.
Just before even the Roman Eagle was put up the Jews had a Zylafori festival. (Wood gathering)
It was the most popular festival as it was the only time a gift of your hands would be acceptable to the priests...instead of just money. The storerooms were so full they couldn't shut all the doors...they also had a great year for crops as all the storerooms were in the same shape.

When the Romans Soldiers figured out that the Jews were holding up in the Temple they first shot fiery arrows into the complex.
(Not a lot in there to burn)
ONE arrow caught the wood storeroom on fire which then spread to the other storerooms and burned up all the groceries.

At the end of the 3½ year siege...they burned the gate doors and stormed them. The Jews were all weak from hunger and canabalism and didn't put up much of a fight but many got hacked to death and all the treasures of the Temple were looted by the Soldiers.

The Jewish Christians began to drift into Turkey and Egypt. Anywhere but Israel.

With this I say you knock it out of the ball park.

I would think that God Himself caused the Moslem Dome to be built right where it is. So that men would be prevented from doing anything stupid like trying to build another physical temple.

But why 70AD was NOT the "abomination" that Jesus was talking about in the Matthew and Mark Olivet (LET THE READER UNDERSTAND), was because Jerusalem AND the temple area was no longer the "holy place" after the curtain was rent. And also because I can't get a lock fit on the 1290 days in the 1st century as I think I do in our end times now.

The Old Time Jews "kingdom" was taken from them and given to a nation that would bear it's fruit. How Jesus would have loved to gather them like a hen gathers it's chicks.

Now they are just there to hold up a sign. From the restoration of the Old City of Jerusalem, until Messiah the Prince.

I'm pretty sure that it's happening now.

    Peaceful Sabbath.

The abomination that causes desolation was in 66AD...the Temple destruction was in 70 AD.
