I'll start with 1 John 5:8 "And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one." m,any say that this is three that make up a trinity. I must disagree, and here's why. man is a two, let me explain. the Spirit, the water, and the blood . ONLY two are of man, the WATER = the Body, which we are made of ... over 90%, and the Blood which is the life of the BODY. but the spirit is not man's it God's. scripture,
Ecclesiastes 8:8 "There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it".

Yes, you have missed the discussions about the Two Witnesses in the past on these forums. Yet, up until today, no one has recognized the identity of the Two Witnesses at least not in these forums. All have made guesses and speculations.

I know of many other Christians who have known the identity of the Two Witnesses. I believe others miss the mark because they do not take into account the number “two” which is the “key” word that needs to be searched out in Scripture in solving the identity of the Two Witnesses.

I can’t seem to find the quote, “I will send my two witnesses before the great and terrible day of the Lord” which you have quoted above.

And, “they will show up five days before the antichrist is revealed that will start the 7yr. Tribulation.”

I’m truly amazed where these ideas come out from the minds of “Christians” which are foreign to the Bible. Either, they are lacking in studies and that the Holy Spirit has not opened their spiritual eyes.

I am very familiar with Mal 3:1. Without a doubt, the first "messenger" represents John the Baptist, and the second represents Christ, Himself, for He is the "messenger of the covenant." But how did you get John the Baptist as Elijah?

I was actually responding to Pompadour's post and below is what I've stated and asked of him.

Note how the two paragraphs above are connected to each other with the conjunction word "and." Just as you did likewise with the first and second paragraphs of your post. In other words, I said I couldn't find the passages he quoted anywhere in Scripture because they are not written in Scriptures.

I have to disagree with your last paragraph. The phrase "Day of the Lord" or the "Lord's Day" is a synonym for "Judgment Day."

The cross is of happy times for all true believers for that is the joyous time when our sins have been redeemed!

I believe I have identify who the Two Witnesses are, again John the Baptist and the Lord Jesus the Christ. these are who the Two Witnesses. and what they witness was the Spirit, "THE TRUTH". and their witness are in the earth realm today.

On a serious note, I believe that the scriptures of Zechariah and Revelation, the scriptures concerning the Two Witnesses, are actually prophecies about the "Bible"... The Bible is the two witnesses.

I have never believed that they represent just any couple of men...be they Moses, Elijah or whoever .
Even in my youth as a new Christian, it didn't take me long to see that it was deeper than just that. :)
