Yes, our inquiries have separated us. It does not say God was separated from us.
For goodness sakes, he came and identified with us in Jesus so that we could see his affection toward us
When Adam blew it in the garden, he was the one who went into hiding, not God. God went looking for him, calling him....Adam was his friend. Adam was separated from God. God was not separated from Adam.
