The Apostles are talking to Christians. When Paul is writing letters to the churches, he is talking to Christians. Christ and the Apostles did not want Christians to go to hell. That is why the whole New Testament is full of warnings....some of them stating, do not be deceived. Christians can go to hell. We will all stand before Christ and what we have done will send us to heaven or hell. That is what the Bible says. And I have given you all those scriptures. Do not be deceived. Forgiveness is ours, but Christ is no fool.

Still keeping things in perspective....I am not saying that salvation is not secure. Most of us are not going to be cannibals, murders, child molesters, rapists, and druggies. But even then God loved us even when we were sinners. And the process of salvation gives us an opportunity to start a new life with a clean slate....and a relationship with God. That is the power of grace. When you are baptized, you die in Christ and are renewed as a new person....the memory of the old person and his or her sins erased. A clean slate, a new beginning. We have repented our sins and our sinful life and pledge to walk with Christ.

And Christ knows our heat and our mind and our true intent. We do our honest best to not sin. When we do sin, we repent and ask forgiveness. Do not repeat the same sin over and over again. Learn from our mistakes. Like Christ said to the adulterous woman that was brought before him...go and sin no more.

For your average Christian a moral life is not that difficult. You cuss if you stub your toe....ask forgiveness. The sins that corrupt you are the lifestyle sins. LGBTQ and drugs and sexual immorality. A person needs to know the sins that are listed in the New Testament, the ones that say will prevent you from inheriting the Kingdom of Heaven. Disregard the man-made sins, they out number the real sins. And they turn a Christian's life into a minefield of real and fake sins. You are likely to step on a real sin trying to avoid and fake sin.

For a person that has true moral intent....salvation is secure.

So, falling away from it after you are SAVED, basically does nothing but allow others to esteem you as a backslider.
God doesn't because God does not count sin against a SON of God, as He's already counted them all against His "only Begotten" for you.
This "backslider" is a SON of GOD who is off the main path but they are not "LOST" , as they were previously found by Jesus's Blood and redeemed, which is the reason they are SAVED at all.

There are a lot of Christian's who are no where near the path of Light, yet they are all Children of the Light., by being "born again" into the Spirit of God.
Reader....There is no verse in the NT that says....> you fell out of Christ".
And that is because you can't.
You are "bone of Jesus Christ's bones, and flesh of Jesus Christ's flesh".
"ONE with God"...>"In Christ". A "new Creation".
