I think a closer look at the account will show that Pilate wasn't seeking information. Perhaps he was asking a rhetorical question like, "What has truth got to do with state power?" The answer seems to be, "not much if at all."

Let’s use the “simple logic” that you used with beings on these two sections of the creed.

Thus the Father is God,
the Son is God,
the Holy Spirit is God.

Your “simple logic” results in three Gods.

A Jewish unitary monotheist helping a trinitarian to strengthen his trinitarian faith is ironic. And I do love irony.

It shouldn’t have fallen to me. Personal integrity and genuine concern motivated me to try.
