Hi all!

My name is Dani and I'd love to get discussion going about the experience of women in the church. Everyone is welcome to reply but I'd especially love to hear from women!

I've been studying the women of the Bible and what the Bible has to say about women, motherhood, etc. and I've begun to see discrepancies between what the Bible says about women and what traditional/churchgoers say about women. I'm wondering if others have experienced discrepancies and, if so, I'd love to hear about them..

"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians."
- Pat Robertson

When people start mentioning 'discrepancies' they usually have an agenda. Said agenda isn't about understanding the Word of God. Instead, it's usually about justifying their own passions...flying in the face of God.

"A nation is never conquered until the hearts of its women are on the ground."
- proverb of the Cheyenne people

The United States is but a shadow of its former self. Pretty soon the sun will go down on us and even the shadow will disappear.

If you love God, then you will exalt God. If you love your own agenda, then cherish the moment, for it will soon pass.

and that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...
