Really? When governments are using the COVID scamdemic to shut down churches, control worship, and jail pastors, Christians must simply go along with that and obey the illegal and unconstitutional government mandates? What kind of foolish talk is that?
A church in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan was fined $14,000 because Christians were singing without those stupid and useless masks! Imagine! Fortunately a judge threw out that demand and they won a victory over tyranny. According to you, the government was to be obeyed in violation of freedom to worship. So it is people like you who encourage tyranny against Christians.
Since when has a building stopped us from gathering to worship? When Rome persecuted the church, we went underground.
I never said we should just let them jail us, of course we avoid it.
And as far as me promoting tyranny among Christians? that is your bitterness and anger spewing out. Of course I don't. If you bothered to ask me first instead of making these sweeping judgments, you would not have put your foot so deep in your mouth.
If the mask mandate was just against churches and just against singing- go ahead and violate it. but if it was a general mandate with fines for all, we should obey- no matter how stupid or unconstituional it is! We follow Scripture first, then a constitution second. Of course we can appeal unjust actions against us. I never said we couldn't. But if the govt. and states tomorrow did away with religious freedomn, that just would mean what we do in worshihp is against the law. We just have to learn to be more discreet.
We cannot get rid of Romans 13 just because we do not like some of the laws passed. We can appeal and if it goes against us, then we must decide whether to keep doing and face mans consequences of cease doing and maybe face Gods' consequences.
