Hello you,

Had made this video three months ago it is about 13 minutes long if you are curious, to know the truth about the flesh. It may be very helpful to you. Do encourage reading the word of God and feasting of Jesus cause he is the everlasting waters, and everlasting bread that feeds our soul. He is the only one who can burn out the darkness in our hearts as we live and abide with him.

The truth of the flesh

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Romans 7:25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.

Thank you for viewing, my overall main goal in life is to encourage people to read their bibles, and learn about God and the Lord Jesus Christ: everything in it pertains always seemingly the Nation of Israel, of course the Gentiles were going to part of the Kingdom Jesus had come to set up and establish. Though the wrath of God however itself was reserved for the destruction that fell upon Jerusalem in 70ad.

Have been reading more on this topic in a book called Knife to a Gunfight: Misinterpreting the purpose and place of the New Testament.

The video although is most certainly the truths about the flesh, and how we are to seek for God and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ growing in our faith, and letting them to work in our heart and allow the spirit to built up by abiding the vine. It’s vital to the Christian who desires to Serve and love God, and love others to get to know about the spirit that lives with in us.

Thank you again,
Matthew G.

Recently, I have been listening to a sermon series that emphasized that Israel and the concept of Israelites was always meant to be by faith.

By faith, we are Israelites as well and sons and daughters of Abraham. The Pastor said its impirtant to understand that in order to understand the Bible.

Does that line up with what you are reading?

Hello Wynona,

No. It’s really pertaining to them then in that generation. Considering we are not Jewish by blood only the children or Nation of Israel would have the predestined by God who were used by God to bring about the messiah. The Jewish nation killed the prophets and the messiah. In 70 ad, 1,000,000 Jews were destroyed along with the city of David. In the Roman/ Jewish war. The temple and all the genealogy was wiped out, along with the priesthood, and overall all material religion that was practiced in that day.

If anything we would be considered Gentiles. However none of that matters for in aspect now today who is considered Jew or Gentiles are the same who believe and have faith in Christ who, died, was buried, and resurrected by God.

We are for a better term are known as children of God or sons and daughters, serving God having love for him first and others.

@MatthewG It is indeed most glorious that both Jews and Gentiles can by faith become members of the church of God; 1 Corinthians 10.32 shows these three categories.

Yes we are "children of Abraham" being justified by grace through faith, but not Israelites. See the epistle to the Galatians.

Yeah, I wasn't exactly sure if the pastor was right on that. I could look into it more.

Are you saying Z for zeal, @amadeus. Got a computer now… this is interesting reading commentary from others. No internet still just the phone.

Am studying or making this next lesson about Mark Chapter 8:1-9.

These commentators are really interesting to read they were alive way before either one us where alive. The one in picture is Matthew Henry. 1662-1714 died at age 51.

The people following along for three days had zeal and through the straits of life, a hard service only to be fulfilled at the extremity of having nothing left to eat. Except from Jesus of course. Amazing how the power of Jesus holds together the borders of the seas from mixing in with each other, how he holds the universe collectively together.

No, your Z that you draw and display @8:56 on your video.

The Spirit is increasing toward infinity;
while the flesh is decreasing toward zero.

The new man is growing;
while the old man is dying.

Thanks for the video Matthew…..I thought you were older, nice to meet you x
Something you said has resonated with something I am working through at the moment, how many Christians demand that we follow Jesus in the way they do …….how many judge others based on their own perceptions…….their own journeys with Jesus……..how many presume that unless someone agrees with everything they say then they are wrong to make other choices in life, or to see things from a different prospective.
In many respects that person is expecting the other person to follow ‘ them ‘ ……not follow Jesus as an individual in a relationship with him…………
sorry that probably doesn’t make a lot of sense as it’s not in context of what I am reflecting on at the moment……but it makes sense to me x

Thank you for your comment, Rita.

Considering the argument in it self got you thinking, believe that is a good thing. There seems to be this reasoning thinking within us that we are responsible for other people and are in need to correct them; yet the truth of the matter is everyone is responsible for their own relationship with God. I won’t be able stand in place of so-and-so because they decided to believe how they did, everyone has a chance to take time to seek and learn about God and Jesus in this life (excluding those who never heard the name Jesus) they have enough evidence of Gods creation to consider within their heart while living looking at the creation of what God has made; to say to themselves something greater than themselves created this universe.

Those who have a chance to investigate are encouraged to reaD the Bible if they do not or they do not care what you may have to say when you are trying to share with them about Jesus and God.

It’s between them and God: all we do is share some reject some will listen. Over all we are grown adults living in this world some with faith and some with doubt, and some completely faithless. Jesus is the solution always will be to me.

Thank you for taking time to watch sister,
Matthew G

Hi Matthew,
Good points.
From my prospective It is also about knowing that we are all on our own individual journeys within our relationship with Jesus . We have different gifts, different insights but many seem to conclude that if we don’t agree with them or discern in a different way then it must either mean we are not Christians or are less mature ….which simply is not always the case. The Holy Spirit shares as He wills for different reasons within our set of circumstances as individuals. Many discard some on the grounds that if they aren’t where they are, then they are not worth listening to and they cannot possible learn anything from what they have to say………….
Still mulling things over…….xx

Hey thank you Rita

You have some good points too, to think of someone less than who believes that Jesus died, was buried, and resurrected and claim they are not Christian all over simply them having a different view is where love is needs to come and compassion regardless of whatever it may be over, am thinking about sharing in an upcoming video about my understanding of 1 John 1. Along with the added John 1:1. Because I don’t believe in the trinity, and because of that it would be an obligation to explain it to others of why I don’t submit to that type of thinking with reasoning with the Bible itself. Most people online may deem me not Christian because of that alone but that is the cost of sharing sometimes people will like you or hate you either way it goes in Christianity sometimes.

Thank you for your points and keep on sharing Christ with others who you come across and keep faith my sister, I try to live by the spirit and love all people it’s so hard to do especially if you do not have the spirit to live by.

Take care until next time.

Hi Matthew,
I see quite a few threads on the trinity. I remember shortly after I came to faith Jeff’s uncle came to stay with us , he was a JW…..he lectured me about the trinity. I was a young Christian and didn’t stand a chance !!
At that time I believed what I had been taught, and if I am honest I have never really changed my views. However I won’t argue the point because it just ends up going round in circles. Jesus never told us to prove everything, he asked us to give an answer for why we believe what we believe …..think there is a difference. Many things I cannot prove because it’s by faith, an inner awareness of truth that comes from what The Holy Spirit reveals inside through relationship………
