Blessings in Christ Jesus. When I played this video I walked away and could feel the pain. What I left out in the words earlier was that when I walked further on this journey, when I was not paying attention, all the pain, all the hurt, and all the scars were gone. For truly He heals the broken hearted. Now all of that is a distant memory. I hope these words encourage because The Lord really is that Good.
Thanks @GTW27 that means a lot to me

I am going to get some stuff done and step off for today but I appreciate the listening and talking

Nah. Just expressing anguish is all. Bitterness is a bad spirit to walk in Biblically, but that speaks more specifically to holding resentments toward others. That's not really what's being expressed in either here.
BTW, not a good idea to tell a woman she shouldn’t feel the way she feels. Jeesh, aren’t you married?

I can’t let this go. You must not be positive it was God. You say you are sure it was God, but then you start a thread titled is it biblical to cry like you’re asking…is what God just told me to do biblical? He once told a man to marry a prostitute. Do you suppose the man could have found biblical support for that?
That was OT, which might give some pause if an answer is in the NT or...? But... what is time to God?

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers." John 10:1-5

Did Hosea already know the voice of the Shepherd? Did he not hear Him?

Well apparently it came out to 4 this time, Lol.

I know she walks in a lot of hurt and disillusionment, I'm just not generally one to allow for that kind of spirit if at all possible, so I tend to try and distract others from it whenever I can. But then sometimes this makes me come off as too hard, and too uncaring at times.

TLH can tell you something about that, LoL.
Yep, bc what you told me was opposite of what God has told me. ;) :p

AND .....y'er skeer'd of emotions and tough life situations that you can't relate to. ;)

What a beautiful thread.

Tears are part of a full life. From tears of sadness and grief to tears of joy.

I have had tears of joy. But it comes from the groundwork of vulnerability before God. From letting Him in the hurt places with His light of truth.

May you have a full abundant life with tears, smiles, laughs, and gratitude!

Posts like this make me check for someone's "Likes" verses "Messages." No big surprise there when it comes to you. :)

I hadn't noticed! Thank you so much, Hidden in Him!

Hadn't noticed?! That's even more admirable, Lol. :p

I notice, cuz sometimes I have to correct people and then come off like a total dictator, Lol. If I spent my days talking to people like you, maybe I'd be the most likable guy on this forum.

(Ok, maybe not, but it's at least fun to dream, Lol).

I saw this and I don't know if you'll relate this or not, but I just want to say sometimes what God tells us won't make sense to other people or it will sound crazy.

And the reason is sometimes God is doing the impossible - if God is going to do something impossible, that's usually the reason he told you - because it is from Him!

We can't always expect people to believe us, and most of the time, we'll only get back simple minded understanding.

God is big-minded and he doesn't care about our understanding. That's why it says:

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

That's evidence of Him doing it.

So please don't get discouraged. I am easily discouraged by that stuff all of the time and God is always telling me to wait on Him anyway.

Thank you, sister. I agree. My life has been full of these where God led me in a direction that didn't seem logical or even wise. That song entitled "Thy Will Be Done" could sum up my life. I lost friends who said they loved me and wouldn't walk away ....bc they didn't agree with my decisions. It wasn't the decision I myself would've chosen, but it's the one God gave me. So ....my friends walked. So be it. Idk why God chooses hard roads for some of us. But we trust His hand.....
