It seems to me the lake of fire is the trouble we get ourselves into when we sin.The lake of fire is commonly known as hell, which is a wrong conception altogether.
See hell, the place that held disembodied souls is dumped out.
The sea, could revert to Gentile nations and the dead that were in it, where judged,
Along with death, and (Hell/Hades) gave up the dead that were in them, with this judgment that had come upon the nation of Israel for having rejected the messiah.
Once this is done; John writes
Now wait a minute, in revelation 21:8 it says
Therefore those who did not have faith, they were placed into the lake of fire which they have a part of, it doesn’t say they are in this fire forever, unless you can make it say this.
May would suggest from the scripture found in Revelation 20:15 those who were cast into the lake of fire are done for.
But John makes it clear in saying;
So to those who say God won’t be able to save everyone should really think again, they will have an outside of the kingdom to stay in if that is what they wanted, and those who were faithful, will go inside of the kingdom.
I don’t understand how all of these things are missed in understanding what is being said and conveyed to some degree by the Apostle who seen Christ raise from the dead, also promising that he was coming back to these seven churches.
These events written to them had to come about, otherwise all this stuff in the Bible is just a fairy tale hopeless dream, of ever going to be with God at the end of life anyway.
Exactly right. The lake of fire seems purgative and for a purpose
Jesus will rule the kingdom until he has found and saved ALL people. Thereafter he will give the kingdom to God.
For many people, the only fair chance that they have to go to Christ happens in the hereafter. The belief that people must accept Christ in this life or face eternal damnation is another unbiblical myth.

You don't believe that Jesus never stops looking for lost sheep?
Death and Hades are not hell. This is where you are getting confused. The lake of fire is within the realm of hell. Its in fact how you enter hell.

1 Timothy 4:10
English Standard Version
10 For to this end we toil and strive,[a] because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.
You guys seem to miss this point.
There is no way into heaven but by faith in christ, that is to say the kingdom.
And unbelievers who did not want God will be outside of the kingdom.
How hard is thst to really understand?
It must be dififcult to accept because its in the bible itself.
The lake of fire seems purgative and for a purpose
But people make it out like God gonna hang them by the throat and abuse them and what not.
Seems to me they get to roam free in the heavenly realm.
Its from the bible itself the last book of
God revealing something for you to witness, and see what everything in the end looks like to some degree in revelation 21-22.0
Exactly right.
Incorrect. The place of the dead, or the realm of death, or the underworld or the valley of the shadow of death are all related to darkness and water. That's why the underword is depicted with a river, that's why we baptise in water to symbolise the death of the old life and that's why we cry tears when we lose a loved one. However when we cry tears of bitterness or tears of anger like judas did after he betrayed jesus, this is depicted as the lake of fire. The lake of fire is symbolic for feelings of resentment and the build up of anger before an outburst. Sheer frustration.Death of the physical body that goes into the grave (hades) is utterly destroyed in the lake of fire that is the second death. Hell is throughout Scripture used interchangeably with the physical place of the dead and the place of eternal torment. That's because for the one who goes into the place of the dead (hell) in unbelief, it matters not, they shall also go into the place spoken of as suffering eternal torment LOF (also translated hell).
