Everyone should visit the first post and consider the scripture...
Most Christians pick and choose what they want to believe. Sharing scripture with them is futile.

1 Timothy 4:10

English Standard Version

10 For to this end we toil and strive,[a] because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.

The lake of fire is commonly known as hell, which is a wrong conception altogether.

See hell, the place that held disembodied souls is dumped out.

The sea, could revert to Gentile nations and the dead that were in it, where judged,

Along with death, and (Hell/Hades) gave up the dead that were in them, with this judgment that had come upon the nation of Israel for having rejected the messiah.

Once this is done; John writes

Now wait a minute, in revelation 21:8 it says

Therefore those who did not have faith, they were placed into the lake of fire which they have a part of, it doesn’t say they are in this fire forever, unless you can make it say this.

May would suggest from the scripture found in Revelation 20:15 those who were cast into the lake of fire are done for.

But John makes it clear in saying;

So to those who say God won’t be able to save everyone should really think again, they will have an outside of the kingdom to stay in if that is what they wanted, and those who were faithful, will go inside of the kingdom.

I don’t understand how all of these things are missed in understanding what is being said and conveyed to some degree by the Apostle who seen Christ raise from the dead, also promising that he was coming back to these seven churches.

These events written to them had to come about, otherwise all this stuff in the Bible is just a fairy tale hopeless dream, of ever going to be with God at the end of life anyway.
It seems to me the lake of fire is the trouble we get ourselves into when we sin.

People say all kinds of things.

Who cares when it comes to seeking truth, @Behold.

My suggestion question everything, even pastors, or whoever; check it all by the bible.

Asking God to help one in learnign and growing.

Spouting beliefs or peoples quotes wont do anything

No one should believe anything i say.

Love to you.

You guys seem to miss this point.

There is no way into heaven but by faith in christ, that is to say the kingdom.

And unbelievers who did not want God will be outside of the kingdom.

How hard is thst to really understand?

It must be dififcult to accept because its in the bible itself.

The lake of fire seems purgative and for a purpose

But people make it out like God gonna hang them by the throat and abuse them and what not.

Seems to me they get to roam free in the heavenly realm.

Its from the bible itself the last book of

God revealing something for you to witness, and see what everything in the end looks like to some degree in revelation 21-22.0

Jesus will rule the kingdom until he has found and saved ALL people. Thereafter he will give the kingdom to God.

For many people, the only fair chance that they have to go to Christ happens in the hereafter. The belief that people must accept Christ in this life or face eternal damnation is another unbiblical myth.

Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

Carefully notice the verse below. Jesus came to earth to save not ALL people, but HIS people from their sins. The fact the lake of fire exists is proof that not ALL people shall be HIS saved people.

Matthew 1:21 (KJV) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Notice again the verse below. It clearly says that every human shall die once, after that the judgment. Where can we find verses to prove people still have opportunity to accept Christ after death?

Hebrews 9:27 (KJV) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

It is in this age of the Gospel that man must be saved. Once a man succumbs to death, if he/she dies in unbelief the next conscience moment for them shall be the great white throne judgment and condemnation in the eternal lake of fire that is the second death.

You don't believe that Jesus never stops looking for lost sheep?

Jesus seeks and saves the lost, and whosoever is found of Him shall have eternal (never ending) life through Him. But as has already been stated not all shall be found for on judgment day those who remain in unbelief shall hear the Lord telling them “Then He will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.’” Remember "angel" is not limited to spiritual beings, because it also means a messenger of God, that means a humans and angels. So all the messengers of the devil, that is whosoever dies in unbelief, shall be cursed and cast into the lake of fire with together with him. To die the second death and never know life again!

Death and Hades are not hell. This is where you are getting confused. The lake of fire is within the realm of hell. Its in fact how you enter hell.

Death of the physical body that goes into the grave (hades) is utterly destroyed in the lake of fire that is the second death. Hell is throughout Scripture used interchangeably with the physical place of the dead and the place of eternal torment. That's because for the one who goes into the place of the dead (hell) in unbelief, it matters not, they shall also go into the place spoken of as suffering eternal torment LOF (also translated hell).

Most Christians pick and choose what they want to believe. Sharing scripture with them is futile.

1 Timothy 4:10

English Standard Version

10 For to this end we toil and strive,[a] because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.

Yes, Patrick, God shows no favoritism toward any particular nation of people. He will save all people who believe in all the nations of the world. This is not different than what is written in 1Tim 2. Again and again the Bible makes this distinction to prove salvation through our Lord is not limited to faithful Jews alone. His salvation is for whosoever is of faith ALL who believe in Him shall be saved, even Gentiles, and kings and those in positions of authority over us, which is why we are instructed to pray for ALL men. Even some of them who believe shall be saved.

1 Timothy 2:4-7 (KJV) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

If ALL meant without exception as you want to believe, there would be no reason for the many warnings that are written throughout Scripture. Christ even tells us that it is better to go through life with only one eye or lame if it means we shall be saved from that which is ordained for whosoever dies in unbelief.

How can the lake of fire be a kind of purgatory since it is the "second death"? Those who are cast into the lake of fire shall never again know life since the second death will be not only of the body but also of the soul. If there is no soul, there is no life.

Matthew 10:28 (KJV) And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Incorrect. The place of the dead, or the realm of death, or the underworld or the valley of the shadow of death are all related to darkness and water. That's why the underword is depicted with a river, that's why we baptise in water to symbolise the death of the old life and that's why we cry tears when we lose a loved one. However when we cry tears of bitterness or tears of anger like judas did after he betrayed jesus, this is depicted as the lake of fire. The lake of fire is symbolic for feelings of resentment and the build up of anger before an outburst. Sheer frustration.

You are correct however when you say hell is physicle death. Remember that the lake of fire is how we enter hell, resentment is how we build up and enter into anger.

Yes, and the sin that condemns us eternally is that of unbelief. From which there shall be no escape for whosoever dies in unbelief, shall be cast into the lake of fire that is the second death, never to know life again.

Incorrect! Prove what you allege using Scripture rather than opinion???
