I see a lot of posts lately here and other places asking "is that really what this or that means" etc. Being one who had a job while many were getting higher "educaton" I dont debate sctipture point by point. I just go by what Jesus said and go with that. Much better for my serenity.

Not what this says.

Romans 2:14-16 NIV
(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law,
do by nature things required by the law,
they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law.
15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts,
their consciences also bearing witness,
and their thoughts sometimes accusing them
and at other times even defending them.)

[

You post verses you dont understand, becaue that is your Theology.

Your verse says.....>that the law's requirments are "written in their Hearts".

The "Laws requirement" is that you dont sin against the law.......so, the way this works is that our conscience, = convicts us of sin.

Atheists who love sin, feel that its wrong, deep inside themselves, and they've never read Moses's Law, and some of them, never read the 10 commandments.
Yet, they have a conscience and God has created it to make you feel BAD about works of the flesh, especially the most serious.

That is what you verse is teaching as "their THOUGHTS sometimes accuse them"............as that is the conscience in all of us.

And when you read "at other times defending them", then that is the same.......that is the mind, in an unbeliever, trying to justfify (defend) their sin., that is made manifest by their conscience.

Am i sure that if you try to prove that everyone will be saved, and do not have to trust in Christ and be born again before they die, that you are teaching a false satanic Gospel?
More from Paul.

Every knee will bow and every tongue acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord.
In heaven and on earth and under the earth (in the realm of the dead)
See Philippians 2:10-11

Jesus gave directions to Jews., as He came for the Jews, not for the Gentiles.
Are you a jew?

So, after Jesus was back in Heaven, and the Cross of Christ had birthed the NT Church, as the "bride of Christ".........Jesus called Saul who became Paul the Apostle, and He gave the body of Christ the NT Doctrine, that we are to learn and live by.....daily.

See Philippians 2:10-11

Yes, In Heaven, the Angels and the rest are worshiping Jesus as "LORD"< right now, while you try to deceive newly arrived people on a Fourm by teaching a false demonic Gospel of "Universalism" and continue to post verses you dont understand.

Real Christians are worshiping Jesus "IS Lord".......dailty., because Jesus IS Lord.

Here is an update for some of you, who need to see this....
Jesus is LORD....of ALL.........no matter..
See, If you believe in Jesus , or if you dont....if you love Jesus, or Hate Jesus, or have no connection or concern........this does not affect the FACT that : JESUS IS LORD.
See, He rose from the dead, and now has "all power, in heaven, and on earth".
That's the power of DIETY... that is the power of the God-man risen, and HE IS LORD........no matter how you feel about it., and there is coming a time, when ALL will kneel before JESUS THE Lord, dead or alive, in heaven, on earth, or in Hell.

And In the Lake of fire, every Christ rejector, and fallen angel, and eventually Satan Himself, will bow the knee to the LORD JESUS THE Chirst.
And it wont save any of them.

Satan truly already understands that Jesus is THE Lord, but it wont save Him.
Satan knew Jesus, pre-incarnate, when He was the "WORD"...........so, Satan has a long history with THE LORD, Yeshua.

Listen....Jesus said....'YOU must be BORN again"......by God, before you die, .....and that is not offered to Angelic Fallen Beings.
Its only offered to HUMAN beings., and its not offered in Hell at all., as you can't be born again, in Hell.

- What's your definition of hell?
Suffering.
- How do you see the final judgment playing out?
Judgement(good/ bad) is let go of.

Will everyone be saved in the end?
I don't know. I hope so.

- Will the Lord who taught us to love our enemies incinerate his?
Hopefully he will destroy them by changing their hearts.

Agree.
Here are a couple of references along those lines.

Mark 9:49 NIV
Everyone will be salted with fire.

Malachi 3:2 NIV
But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears?
For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap.

Christians are not supposed to be unable to know what to believe for certain.
And you have now shown us that you are double minded, and can only see verses and situations as .... well there is another point of view...

And do you know that this is How Satan confused and deceived Eve?
He told her......>>"Well, there is always another viewpoint, regarding what GOD said".
So he showed her one and deceived her completely.

See that?.......so that is the same as...>>"well, who can really know?......who can know for certain.......after all, there are many opinions"..
What nonsense. There are clear contradictions in the Bible. That's a fact. It was written by men, so there are bound to be mistakes. It doesn't erase our faith, but it should temper our dogmatic approach to every single word in scripture.

This video presents three views. Which view do you resonate with?

- Damnationism
- Annihilationism
- Universalism
I'm closest to annihilationism, between the three. It seems possible to me that some people merit damnation, while others are annihilated, and others pass on to an eternal reward. You can figure which one's merit damnation pretty easily - they're the Hitlers and Clintons of the world.
- What's your definition of hell?
Which hell?

I think of hades-hell as an in-between place.
Gehenna-hell seems to be a place where things are destroyed.
And tartarus-hell is a place of torment.
- How do you see the final judgment playing out?
By the books. The Bible seems to mention two books. One full of the recorded sins of mankind, and the other of the names of the redeemed.
- Will everyone be saved in the end?
No?

I see in the Bible where the martyrs will be physically raised to life in the first resurrection.

The final resurrection is less clear. Does saved here mean they will be granted immortality? If so, is it physical? Or is it our spirit/soul/mind/something else that is preserved?
- Will the Lord who taught us to love our enemies incinerate his?
In the Bible, fire (Gr: pur) is not an instrument of torture, but of purification.

It seems clear from the Bible that some people are refined and come out the other side better for it.

Are there people whose self includes nothing of substance, whose entire existence is removed by the fire because there was nothing there worth keeping? Personal experience with people suggests 'yes.'

Now my beliefs are not Bible Only, because after the biblical era God taught us that polygamy and concubinage and slavery was wrong and the equality of women was right, but as far as Hell ....

There is nothing in the Bible or history that indicates that parameters of Hell have changed. Hell is a fiery and painful and eternal punishment.

Like it has been noted on this forum, there are Christians that believe that we are not held accountable for our actions, no ramifications for our actions. This goes along with the OSAS crowd.

Sure I would like it if there was a way out of Hell. That there were sentences to Hell for certain offences, 6 months or a year. But God’s word is not dependant on what we like or dislike. Reality is not about what we like or dislike.

I think that ten seconds in hell would be enough for anyone to get the message.
Anything beyond that is the most sadistic punishment imaginable.

Even humans have laws against cruel and unusual punishment.

I think that ten seconds in hell would be enough for anyone to get the message.
Anything beyond that is the most sadistic punishment imaginable.

Even humans have laws against cruel and unusual punishment.
The highest penalty for any crime committed under God’s law was death….and the death penalty is paid by every human who dies. There are two destinations for the dead.…but all the dead are in one place..”Sheol…hades…this is the place where conscious life ceases. (Eccl 9:5, 10) Even the animals end up in the same place as humans do…..returning to the dust, just as Adam was told. (Gen 3:19; Eccl 3:19-20)

Christ‘s death was the ransom for all those in Sheol. He died for all, but not all will exercise their free will in a right way

Those who died faithful will be resurrected to a new life….and those who committed unforgivable sins, will not see life ever again.

People who fail to acknowledge that death is the opposite of life are not taught by Scripture, but by the devil, whose very first lie….”you surely will not die” is perpetuated in the belief of an immortal soul. There is no such teaching in the Bible. Souls are entirely mortal and they die. (Ezek 18:4)

Resurrection is the means by which life is restored…..in heaven for those chosen by God to rule with Christ, or on earth for those who will be their subjects. (Rev 20:6; Rev 21:2-4)

God’s original purpose for mankind will be reinstated because what God starts…he finishes. (Isa 55:11)

It all hinges on one question….what was God’s original purpose for us here on this lovingly prepared planet?…..
Why are we here? Why did God create us as mortal humans on a material earth, in a vast universe? If we can answer that, then everything else falls into place….no need to invent places for dead souls to go.…especially not to a place of eternal conscious torment in a fire that God apparently will never extinguish. That is not the exercise of justice…..that is the actions of a sadist.

“God is love”.
