This world sure is full of "chaos and confusion". So many lost souls out thereSometimes it just feels like peace has left the planet and all that is left is chaos and confusion!
We just will not find peace outside of God Himself. Jesus said, “In me you will have peace” John 16:33.
God in flesh came to live with you and with me. And because He came, we have peace.
Peace is not the absence of discouragement.
Peace is the presence of God.
And, since His presence is with us, we can have peace.
Lord, please give us inner peace today. You are our Peace. ✟
Please Lord, help us to find our rest in You.
Amen.
Great verse there in Romans 8!.........By Oswald Chambers

We know that all things work together for good to those who love God… —Romans 8:28
The circumstances of a saint’s life are ordained of God. In the life of a saint there is no such thing as chance. God by His providence brings you into circumstances that you can’t understand at all, but the Spirit of God understands. God brings you to places, among people, and into certain conditions to accomplish a definite purpose through the intercession of the Spirit in you. Never put yourself in front of your circumstances and say, “I’m going to be my own providence here; I will watch this closely, or protect myself from that.”
All your circumstances are in the hand of God, and therefore you don’t ever have to think they are unnatural or unique. Your part in intercessory prayer is not to agonize over how to intercede, but to use the everyday circumstances and people God puts around you by His providence to bring them before His throne, and to allow the Spirit in you the opportunity to intercede for them. In this way God is going to touch the whole world with His saints.

To obey is better than sacrifice ♥
Great verse there in Philippians! shows that we depend on the power of God in Chris and His great faithfulness to us!~ Selected ~
Phil 1:6 " Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
Walk with Him and trust that He is guiding each step you take. He is the Author and Finisher of your faith, so grasp your life loosely—don’t clench the pen. Give Him the pen and watch Him write your story from a beautiful beginning to an amazing end.
Thank You, Lord, that we can trust You to finish what You start and carry us during all of the in-between. Amen.
In Scripture, the term Rose of Sharon is often taken as referring to the Lord Jesus.Just as a rose is the chief of flowers for its beauty and fragrance, our Jesus is the preeminent object of our desire. The sweetness of His fragrant life and words add beauty to our dull and colorless world.
That is why we can stop and smell the roses this Christmas season—because Jesus is the Rose.

I agree that much of that Book is a conversation between Jesus and the Bride of Christ. The first two verses of the chapter would be the words of Jesus as the Bridegroom:In Scripture, the term Rose of Sharon is often taken as referring to the Lord Jesus.
Thank-you.I agree that much of that Book is a conversation between Jesus and the Bride of Christ. The first two verses of the chapter would be the words of Jesus as the Bridegroom:
" I am the Rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. As the lily among the thorns, so is my love among the daughters," Song of Solomon 2:1-2
Then the Bride responds:
"As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste" Song of Solomon 2:3
Give God the glory!
Thank-you.
Dispensation-ally I would tend to see the book as being partly about the relationship between the Beloved and Israel, rather than the church.
I was using the term 'the Beloved' to refer to the Lord Jesus, prefigured in the Old Testament; and in Ephesians He is called 'the Beloved'.Is there a difference!
Between Christ and His Beloved. Of which His believing believers are.
Anything, in the Bible, that "speaks " to us, is for us.
I do not believe all the rubbish about " this is spoken to the Jews, this is for the lost , this is only for the gentiles etc etc ...From Gen to Rev..it is ALL from God to the reader , when The Holy Spirit quickens it to the reader.
My two cents.
