[20] But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become *the firstfruits of them that slept. That is all pretty good.
However, you left out one of the most misunderstood passages regarding the timeline: "Every man in his own order." Which means there is no mass, future-only event, as many believe. 1 Corinthians 15:23
[21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
[22] For as in Adam all die, **even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
[23] But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; ***afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. [Being both the dead in Christ, and
**** those who are alive and remaining.
.
This is the "order" :
* all the OT Saints up to Christ's Resurrection.
** all who are born again of God's Holy Spirit- the Age of Grace (symbolic 1000 years), from Pentecost to current.
*** all believers in Jesus, who have died in faith, are bodily resurrected.
**** then we who are alive and are remaining, shall be caught up with them, with Jesus in the clouds.
