Also, to combat the "brutally wicked and mean and hateful" world, you support someone who is mean and hateful?
Who says Trump is "mean and hateful"? The Left-Liberal LIARS. The Mainstream Media (MSM), the *Demoncrats* (no doubt controlled by demons), and the RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) have all been lying about Trump, ever since he entered the campaign for presidency.

If you want to see "mean and hateful" take a close look at all the Democratic politicians and what kind of hatred they have been spewing against (1) Christians, (2) conservatives, (3) all Trump supporters, and (4) Trump himself. They even commissioned witches and wizards to cast spells on Trump in order to destroy him.

Christians and Jews Combat Witches' Summer Solstice Satanic Spells on Trump
Witches around the world cast spells against President Trump once again last night, attempting to #BindTrump on the summer solstice.

The witches have been waging spiritual warfare against the president since Trump took office, but now even Jewish leaders in Israel are expressing concerns about it.

"Witchcraft, or its real name, Satanism, is explicitly a power struggle, which is why it is so readily dragged into politics. Satanism, in its essence, pits the adversary against God," Rabbi Daniel Asore explained to Breaking Israel News.

I'm not the only Christian who doesn't understand how other Christians support Trump, Scott. So it's not just me who has no idea. So that's not the only problem.

And not supporting Trump does not mean I don't have an idea of what a mess things are. To state that is a false assumption.

I do have more than an idea on how things are "brutally wicked and mean and hateful", I just disagree with you, in that I think Trump is contributing to the problem.

I do know the principles of what the USA was founded on. Yet another false assumption that I do not, from you. And just because I don't think the best course of action to "MAGA" is the same as yours, does not mean I don't have any idea about it, it is just different than yours.

You encourage me to "get out more"? How could you possible know how much I "get out"? Please explain this to me. And just because I do not agree with you and your political views, how does that mean I am "not real" and "part of the problem"? Perhaps your views are "not real", that you are being deceived by an antichrist, and that you are "part of the problem".

You elected a "butcher", and I'm part of the problem...well, at least you admit helping a butcher. That isn't very Christ-like, is it?

And please do not take my words out of context, as you did when you stated this "And there's the problem. You don't "have no idea."" Finish the context please, as "I have no idea how anyone supports someone like Trump". But now I see why you support Trump, you elected a "butcher". Real nice leader you have there, a butcher, heh.

Perhaps you should leave it to Jesus, Revelation 19:11 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war."
Yeah, reaction verses reaction are rarely good. I'll try to take it point by point:
  1. Yes, you are not alone. But a lot of Christians having a misunderstanding about Trump just makes for a much bigger problem.
  2. If you do have an understanding that there is a mess to clean up, you should not be objecting to a cleaner, when a cleaner is what is called for. Therefore, it is you who are leaving a false impression. No assumption necessary.
  3. What makes you think that the guy who is trying to clean up the wickedness, who is the victim of the meanness and hatred, is "contributing to the problem?" That is like saying a speeding cop chasing a speeder, is contributing to the problem. It's ridiculously inappropriate.
  4. It is no false assumption to consider your being against one who has surrounded himself with more Christians and been more supportive of Israel than any other president in recent times, to be a sign of not knowing the principles of what this nation was founded upon. On the contrary, you are sending mixed signals, acting out of character, when you should be aligning with a leader who is defending those principles. "He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad."
  5. The need to "get out more", is a figure of speech meaning you are obviously out of touch. If you don't know that Trump is fighting for us and not against us...you should. As for me, I base my understanding of what is real and what is not, on actually meeting and talking with the man...who just happens to be nothing like what he is portrayed to be by those who don't know him but hate him and make him an enemy regardless. You sound like one of them.
  6. Cutting off the head of Goliath is indeed "Christ-like." You need to check your oil.

What for?

Well, there is quite a bit, actually

1. No scandals
2. Brought the economy back from the brink
3. He got osama
3. He is a Christian
4. He is literate
5. He has integrity

Downside: foreign policy - too much bombing

The trouble with all the fanatical Trump haters is that if they do get the government back, and begin dragging it down the way Obama was, it may be too late to save America by the time the Democrats finally open their eyes, years down the road. Even with all the good Trump has done, we have just barely begun to get our heads above water. The Democrats just might take us down again, for the final time.

Just in my life: Our reserve money has increased by about 28K in the time he has been in office, and in addition, we purchased a new car that we could not have afforded previously... despite wanting to get one for ten years. I don't think I could refuse that kind of prosperity simply because he doesn't speak sweetly.

Yes. He has given certain people tax cuts that we can’t afford

That's kind of laughable since we have both been retired for years, and these "tax breaks" you seem to be concerned about have nothing to do with our investments.

So did Trump just make a deposit in your account? I heard the tax cuts really only affected people in Alabama, anyway......oh wait

All I know is food and gas are more expensive

In all reality, we were eating a little each year into our reserve money to live for well over a decade. These last couple of years, we have lived off our dividends... AND... have not had to use any "extra" money…… We have been able to actually , finally let the nest egg multiply.

I voted for Trump for two reasons. One, to rebuild our sadly depleted Military. And, two, to rescue our downwardly spiraling economy. He has done both... in spades!

We spend a higher percentage of our GDP on the military than all of the major powers combined. Since Trump has been in power, the world has become a much more dangerous place - China and Russia are now working together, which has not happened prior. Iran is saber rattling. Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan are teaming with terrorist activity and England is at the mercy of their own Trump!

Also, the economy was improving every year. Thanks Obama!

Donald Trump said it, not "left-liberal LIARS". His mean and hateful quotes:
1)"Look at that face!” said of former Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina. “Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!"
2)“Ariana Huffington is unattractive, both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man. He made a good decision."
3)"You know, it doesn't really matter what [the media] write as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ass."
4)"Laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that"
5)"Jeb Bush has to like the Mexican illegals because of his wife"
And on and on and on. Not mean or hateful?

If you want to see "mean and hateful" take a close look at all the Democratic politicians and what kind of hatred they have been spewing against (1) Christians, (2) conservatives, (3) all Trump supporters, and (4) Trump himself. I never once said they were not "mean and hateful" either, did I? They are. So you're saying Trump, after having been given quotes of "mean and hateful" comments, is just like them, the satanists/antichrists. Great argument there...

That is none of your concern. None of the politicians are paragons of virtue or model Christians. And that is not even the issue.

Yes, it is. So that I, and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, do not follow them into Hell/Lake of Fire. 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,"

Yeah, reaction verses reaction are rarely good. I'll try to take it point by point:
  1. Yes, you are not alone. But a lot of Christians having a misunderstanding about Trump just makes for a much bigger problem.
Or you could say that a lot of Christians have a misunderstanding about Trump, and is indeed a much bigger problem, if he is an antichrist/not saved ("never asked God for forgiveness for anything") and says he is a Christian. A much bigger problem indeed.
  1. If you do have an understanding that there is a mess to clean up, you should not be objecting to a cleaner, when a cleaner is what is called for. Therefore, it is you who are leaving a false impression. No assumption necessary.
  1. I do have an understanding, and don't object to a cleaner, I just believe the cleaner is Jesus Christ, and not Donald Trump. What about you? It is you who is leaving a false impression of looking to man to cleanse and not Jesus Christ.
[*]What makes you think that the guy who is trying to clean up the wickedness, who is the victim of the meanness and hatred, is "contributing to the problem?" That is like saying a speeding cop chasing a speeder, is contributing to the problem. It's ridiculously inappropriate.
It's not like that. He's contributing "meanness and hatred" himself, as well as being a victim of it, and he's contributing to the problem, as are those who are mean to him. Same problem all around. In your analogy, it would be more appropriate to say the cop who is against speeders goes and speeds also when not chasing a speeder.
Who are the "more Christians" you speak of, except those who help him look like he's a Christian (Paula White et al)? Who in his administration, or is it just for the PR? Please don't forget that Congress in 1995 passed the bill that would recognize Jerusalem as the capital, but then held off for a future person to end the waivers. Jerusalem Embassy Act - Wikipedia I guess they don't get any credit in your book, just Trump huh?
The need to "get out more", is a figure of speech meaning you are obviously out of touch. If you don't know that Trump is fighting for us and not against us...you should. "Get out more" means I'm out of touch, well thanks for your translation. We could've skipped this if you didn't need to translate what you really meant. I don't think I'm out of touch at all, just because I don't agree with what you are saying. If you don't know that Trump is not for Jesus Christ, you should. Yes, I've never met the man, I'm only going off of words he stated and can attribute to him via sources, right-leaning and left-leaning.
Cutting off the head of Goliath is indeed "Christ-like." You need to check your oil.

No, that's just you showing your own hatred, without actually knowing the man. To say nothing of you being anti-God, showing such hatred for the choice of Him who actually raises up leaders.
I do have an understanding, and don't object to a cleaner, I just believe the cleaner is Jesus Christ, and not Donald Trump. What about you? It is you who is leaving a false impression of looking to man to cleanse and not Jesus Christ.
No, you don't even believe that it is God who has raised up this leader. You're just showing that you hate Donald Trump more than you love God.
You are wrong, it's exactly like David cutting off the head of Goliath. As for your version of the speeding cop analogy: That's a fail. Because he hasn't "not been chasing a speeder" yet.
Who are the "more Christians" you speak of, except those who help him look like he's a Christian (Paula White et al)? Who in his administration, or is it just for the PR? You failed this one when you overlooked Mike Pence. In case you hadn't noticed...we do have a Christian in the White House.
"Get out more" means I'm out of touch, well thanks for your translation. We could've skipped this if you didn't need to translate what you really meant. You are not demonstrating "disagreement", you are spewing hatred, acting like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Bad fruit.
That is for Jesus Christ and only Jesus Christ to fulfill: Revelation 19:11 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war."
Now that sounds like a nice topic for discussion another time.

Nonetheless, I am glad that you have apparently changed your mind and agree that David cutting off the head of Goliath is indeed Christ-like behavior. Just imagine if we had a president who showed such character!

Oh, that's right--we do.
