Ah, thank you for explaining.
Edited: Off-topic response to an off-topic comment. You need a thick skin to be around Christians in general because Christians have a longstanding reputation of eating their own.
Here listen to this,.. this song has gotten me through a lot. This girl can really sing. ;)
Well, April, like someone else has already explained, when you post something in a public thread, it’s open for anyone to comment. And I have been posting in this thread. Just so you know, calling me silly names is not going to keep me from commenting. :)Yeah well that's your opinion and that video wasn't for you anyways nosey nelly. (Not because I don't realize that I posted this on a public forum but obviously because you were never taught to mind your own beeswax.)
Due to the fact that I've experienced it myself, yes I do. I'm not exactly sure how, but I believe that they might have not found the light when they died or have some sort of unfinished business.

I’m thinking that in this thread, the word "paranormal" pertains to the occult, not just the supernatural.I believe in the paranormal, but not in ghosts. Demons imitate dead humans to get you to trust them.

I have read that the Jews believed the spirits of people stayed around for three days, and this is why Jesus didn't go raise Lazarus right away. Also, Jesus said that it would be three days and three nights before He was raised. It may be that if it had been less time, the Jews would have discounted both of these resurrections.
Sister that is very interesting. I've often suspected it might be the case myself. It would make sense of several things, but I wasn't aware the Jews taught that.
Where did you learn this from, remember?
Do you mean that some of the posts are against TOS?There are several posts here that have become off topic and needs to be cleaned up and edited before I do it.

Well, you have to do your job. I really don't know which comments you consider to be against the TOS.Meaning they have become more of a type of slander against the integrity of the forum and a personal platform to vent their offenses to others about.
You are taking what I said as directed towards you....well let me help clarify.Well, you have to do your job. I really don't know which comments you consider to be against the TOS.
I can say that I have been threatened on this forum as of late, but I did not report it. I responded to the threat myself. I'm very concerned that so many comments are being reported. I see a clear campaign here on the part of some to silence others, and I am praying that it will not work.
Wow, you’re asking me to go way back, lol. I took some Bible classes in college. It may have been in those classes. If I remember specifically, I’ll let you know.
Edit: This article says something similar: What was the significance of Jesus being dead for three days? | GotQuestions.org
Edit: I just found this quote:
Jewish TextsI just want to make it clear that I'm not saying I believe this about a person's spirit/soul staying with the body for 3 days. But the Jews may have believed it.
"But you, go on to the end; you shall rest, and arise to your destiny at the end of the days." (Daniel 12:12)
"For three days after death the soul hovers over the body intending to reenter it." (Lev. Rabbah 18:1)
