I was thinking of you Mayflower when I was discussing this with a friend...awareness...need to warn parents what subliminal messages are being conveyed...
Also made me think of your dream.

Oh yeh. Dream in the dark...I don't know about the right interpretation, but have gotten some good advice from it I can use. Any wisdom is appreciated and can help others too...

My aunt cheryl bought one for Lorena when she was born. I think it is cute. Plays humpty dumpty, jack and jill, and hickory dickory dock.
Aww. :D I don't remember much about mine except waking up in the middle of the night to a talking duck with a little blue hat singing REALLY loudlyo_O

I don't think my parents warned me

Yes, they're how the West was won!

I have bean juice every morning as well!
If you are ever faced with a food shortage eat beans...they naturally contain protein...

In particular, they’re a great way to load up on fiber and plant-based protein.

legumes.

Beans have been cultivated for thousands of years. Today, they’re an important food source worldwide.

Black, kidney, navy, fava, and pinto beans are common in the United States (1Trusted Source).

Nutritional profiles differ from one bean to the next. However, as an example, 1 cup (171 gram) of boiled pinto beans offers (2Trusted Source):

  • Protein: 15 grams
  • Fat: 1 gram
  • Carbs: 45 grams
  • Fiber: 15 grams
  • Iron: 20% of the Daily Value (DV)
  • Calcium: 8% of the DV
  • Magnesium: 21% of the DV
  • Phosphorous: 25% of the DV
  • Potassium: 21% of the DV
  • Folate: 74% of the DV
Beans also contain decent amounts of zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, and vitamins B1, B6, E, and K.

With only 245 calories per cup (171 grams), pinto beans are one of the most nutrient-dense foods around.

Awesome! You go girl...I knew you were a trooper! Save the kids!

Well the hard part as a Christian parent has been deciding not to do Easter or Halloween. We do Resurrection Sunday and half price candy the next days of the holiday. But not eggs now. If family wants to give them something that is okay.

Oh yeh. Dream in the dark...I don't know about the right interpretation, but have gotten some good advice from it I can use. Any wisdom is appreciated and can help others too...
I don't think I heard your dream but you know my snow dream.

I had another dream my dad dropped me off to stay with my mom. She was trying to show me her tent. It was a floppy orange thing and I didn't like it and said no.

Then my kids were in the window showing off all kinds of their art and my son invented something with an LED light and was shining at the window. There was a playhouse with all sorts of instruments on it. And then I said, "At this rate I'll have the spring dresses done by winter!"

The dream meant for me to not move to ND with my mom because he has better for me and to hurry up and finish my dresses because they're apparently for spring.

So I worked the next morning on my dress and was working on a pocket where the threads were showing , got the urge to watch a tailoring tips video and kept thinking that I needed to start again. The thread knotted and I pulled the needle, the needle snapped back, lightly scratched my hand, and bent into a U. I had no choice but to restart the pocket and take out all of the thread.

The video showed how to make the threads invisible. I got the point. Did it right.

Called mom- mom confirmed she had a floppy tent that wasn't sitting right and a few days before she had a dream of just one long sewing needle.

Yeh I revived this thread, just because I am not going to pm dream stuff anymore. I want to pray awhile. I'm a bit heavy-hearted about things right now. Kinda poking the back burner as you would say. Not sure all my thoughts/feelings. But God will guide my path.

Good Night!
I wasn't referring to the dark dream....I just went and read it...
See how God works?...He confirms His Word by 2 or more witnesses...I was simply sharing what was on my heart about the nursery rhymes....God is so good
I haven't been to that thread in forever...really.

I am going to take a look now! I totally get where you're coming from because I spent years in the same position going back and forth between believing and unbelieving, doubt and then faith, and I see you going through the same stuff I did.

God does do stuff, but remember the story with Moses. Everything God did through Moses the sorcerers did too- until their power died out. So all you need to do is to trust God and he does what he wants when he wants.

I will never tell you to not be careful. If you need to step back then do that. Do what you think God wants you to do- you remember me, I said I needed a break from it at one point and I did!

I got hurt a lot from not being careful, but I also learned the difference between wishful thinking on my part, being led astray by schemes, and just faith, patience, endurance and drawing near to the Lord and resting in Him will help a lot with discernment. God has a purpose in it.

Oooohhh,

I'm gonna look for a vivid dream I shared on CF so I can maybe get some feedback on your thread!

I kinda see the interpretation, but just broad strokes...I could use some different perspectives to fill it in some.

Yeah, I just spent about an hour looking for it...can't find it.

But it involved a garden, a woman, a haunted house (including the mask from Scream), deep deep darkness, a sinister voice, a horde of flying she demons, a huge flock (murder) of crows, a blizzard, and the awning of another house (not the haunted)...

...I know...right...

Has anyone ever paid attention to how bad and evil they are and how they can promote fear in children?
Example:
Humpty Dumpty
Sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty
Had a great fall
All the kings horses and all the kings men...
Couldn't put Humpty back together again.

I haven’t even read half of the posts here ....working my way through them.
Midnight and can’t sleep!

Did you know that most ( many) of the above quoted are political not so much evil. Most of them English and about the king and the court.

They were considered as the ‘news paper ‘,. The peasants couldnt speak openly , so the messages were passed in rhyme or song by the traveling minstrel.

I know that “ sing a song of sixpence “ was about certain edicts that the king was signing etc

Humpty Dumpty was probably a king , not sure which.

“The grand old Duke of York “ ...speaks for itself ..he marched his army to the north of England when he was needed in the south!

Looking into the history of them is fun. ...Especially being a Brit.
But I’ve forgotten more than I remember ....
