That's how I feel about this whole roll out.
I don't like the actors, Fauci, Birx, WHO, CDC.. they are all shifty and money hungry.
But I should do what they say, because they told you that you would be safe If I do what they tell me to do.
And if I don't do what they tell me to do, then that means I don't care about you.

Does this mean that you don't include "liberals" in the "others" that we should live for? Just wondering. I think we cause ourselves to be misunderstood by the expressions we use. I have a pretty fair idea that you meant you dislike the Theology/politics that many liberal-leaning folks espouse. But do you see how it could easily have been taken another way? By the way, I like the JOY acronym.

Doesn't matter, if what they call for is not unbiblical we must obey. They allow porn shops, but that doesn't mean we have to go in. If they say we must, then we must disobey for that is contrary to the Word of God.

I follow the Lord jesus Christ. and part of following Him is to obey the governing authorities. With the caveat that if they are calling for me to disobey god, then I disobey them and must be ready to take the consequences. That is what we are commanded to do.

Jesus never said if they were upstanding people. It matters not how corrupt or evil the leaders are, if they pass laws that are not unbiblical, we are bound as followers of Jesus to obey!

A church in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan was fined $14,000 because Christians were singing without those stupid and useless masks! Imagine! Fortunately a judge threw out that demand and they won a victory over tyranny. According to you, the government was to be obeyed in violation of freedom to worship.
