Let's see . . .BOL, please, even your most 'astute' proponents emphatically exist that the trinity is not taught, explicitly or didactically, from anywhere in the Bible. They all claim that it's a mere inference. You must be aware of this point? No where can one find the words trinity, triune, three-in-one, two-in-one, god-man, God the son, God the Holy Spirit, etc... Not one conversion took place in the New Testament, using a trinitarian formula. Not one prayer or doxology from any of the main characters of the Bible, express a trinity.
Do not assert that it's in there. Plus, it's complete nonsense, like I said. You'll never, ever be able to explain what you ultimately concluded.
Reasonable point about the analogy with the brain surgeon. But, character does define competence in certain situations. Trump has broken more bridges, offended more people, almost started a war with Iran for the sake of his ego (killing the Iranian general in order to cover up his impeachment). Never has one's own cabinet been against a president, rallies on the street against him, mockeries from every single talk-show host around the world, plus he got impeached, etc...
You must appreciate that he is a controversial character, to the point of infamy?
Or, would you rather appeal to Trump's coined term, fake news?
- You believe in the "Bible" - yet the Bible itself NEVER lists the Books that belong in it (the Canon). YOU adhere to a list of Books that the Catholic Church declared Canonical in the 4th century.
- Here's another one: You believe in the "Bible" - yet the word "Bible" itself is never found on the pages of Scripture.
- NOT sure if you believe in a "Rapture" - but that is not found in Scripture, either.
- The man-made belief that the Bible Alone (Sola Scriptura) is our "sole authority" - NOT in the Bible.
- Same goes for Sola Fida (Faith Alone) . . .
- Eternal Security(OSAS), Accepting Christ as "Personal Lord and Savior", "Invisible" Church - ALL not found in Scripture.
As for the Trinity - you won't find the word - but the following verses teach it:
(Gen. 1:26, Matt. 28:19, John 15:26, 1 Cor. 12:4-6, 2 Cor. 13:14, 1 John 5:7, Eph. 4:6, Psalm 68:5, Mal. 2:10, Isa. 63:16, 2 Cor. 1:3-4, John 3:16, John 8:41, 1 Thess. 3:13, Isa. 7:14, Isa. 9:6, John 1:1, John 1:3, John 8:58, John 10:30, John 15:9, John 20:28, Acts 5:3-4, 2 Cor. 4:4, Phil. 2:6, Col. 2:9, 1 Tim. 3:16, Heb. 1:8, Tit. 2:13, John 14:16-18, Luke 12:10, 2 Cor. 3:17, 2 Cor. 13:5, John 14:23, Acts 5:3-4).
As for President Trump - I ABSOLUTELY believe that he is controversial. That's WHY I voted for him - because it IS "controversial" to shake things up in the Washington cesspool and drain the swamp. Even people in his own cabinet didn't think he's hold to his word - and they were downright indignant that he didn't play their political games.
This and the fact that he is vehemently PRO-LIFE is why I voted for him.
Shame on YOU for wanting a Pro-Abortion candidate instead.
God Bless him . . .
