Biblical Numerics Confirm God’s Word is Divine in Origin:

While I believe the Christian life should not be entirely consumed by Biblical Numerics, I do believe the study is valid if done occasionally and if it glorifies God’s Word and not ourselves. Occult numerology is an attempt to guide your life by numbers. Some will try to tell the future by numbers, as well. This is also occult numerology. Most often many who do not know about the Bible’s teaching on Biblical Numerics will just hear some pastor say Biblical Numerics is occult numerology (When this is not the case).

I propose to you Revelation 13:18.

Revelation 13:18 KJV
“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Here we see that if we are a believer who has understanding, we are instructed to count the number of the beast and this number is the number of a man (Which is 666).

So how do you count the number? Are you disobeying God by not counting the number?
Is there not a meaning ascribed to this number?
Is it not a part of wisdom?

Also, those who attack Biblical Numerics and mindlessly equate it with occult numerology don’t even know about the amazing mathematical miracles that prove the Bible is divine in origin. They will just shut their brains down and right off impossible odds over and over and over again as random chance (When that’s clearly illogical).

I will propose to you some videos.

Here is the best video on Biblical Numerics:

Here is one video that shows the mathematical miracles even in the Greek.

If after you watched these videos, and you still disagree, then fine. But to argue without even hearing the argument is to simply be close minded and to speak without knowledge.

In all honestly, I cannot see how any sane or rational person would be able to write off the giant mountain of mathematical miracles in the Bible (as presented in these videos above). I think the person who simply wants to put their fingers in their ears and go, “La, la, la, la….” Is the kind of person who is just never gonna get it and they will just mock mindlessly (with them not really knowing what they are talking about because they did not bother to listen or hear the other side or point).

Proverbs 18:13
”He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.”

I have read the entire Bible many times, in a variety of translations. As you know, taking a single verse out of context to prove anything is absurd. For example, Revelation 13:18. John wrote Revelation in such a way that he couldn't be condemned by Rome for his message. Here is that verse in context: Also, it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be given a brand on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell who does not have the brand, that is, the name of the beast or the number for its name. This calls for wisdom: let anyone with understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number for a person. Its number is six hundred sixty-six." Do you see anyone, anywhere with a brand on their right hand or forehead that permits them (only) to buy and sell? Obviously not! So clearly this is a hidden message, an allegory, not to be taken literally. You either believe His Word or you don’t in this instance.

You don't choose God’s Word. You choose your own misinterpretation; it's known as eisegesis. How can you even judge something that you don’t even know anything about?

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, "The coming of the lawless one is apparent in the working of Satan, who uses all power, signs, lying wonders, and every kind of wicked deception for those who are perishing because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion, leading them to believe what is false, so that all who have not believed the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness will be condemned."

I do not understand the obsession with considering the King James Bible to be the only true word of God. It was created in 1611 and has been revised several times, so the KJV we have today is not the original. It was ordered by a secular king to declare his version of Protestantism as the "official" one, even though it was based on earlier translations and the sources available at the time. Many people fled his rule with their bibles tucked under their arms to avoid persecution.

Finding "1611" in chapter and verse numbers is nonsense. The first English New Testament to use the verse divisions was a 1557 translation by William Whittingham (c. 1524–1579). The first Bible in English to use both chapters and verses was the Geneva Bible published shortly afterwards in 1560. It was one of the translations used to create the KJV (without the footnotes that weakened James' claim to divine rule). To use these numbers to refer to the meaning of special verses is nonsense.

Beyond this, why are people so obsessed with this single translation, especially since it has been modified over time. Is that the flowery prose of Olde Englyshe? Let's not forget that Jesus was a rural tradesman who spoke Aramaic, the common dialect of the people.

He was a man of the people and spoke the people's language. He did not communicate in some flowery prose!

While the King James language may be beautiful, it gives a false impression of how the source languages sounded, how they were heard, and what they meant.

And no hocus-pocus numerology will prove otherwise!

An allegory is a symbol or picture pointing to something else that is real. This seems like an evasion of what the text plainly says in Revelation 13:18. There is no indication it is an allegory. Even if it was… you don’t appear to know what that answer really is (Which makes sense out of the verse). Revelation 13:18 is talking about the end times and the mark of the beast. We are living in the last days and we are closer than ever before to the time of when the beast and the antichrist may appear on the scene (which then quickly brings in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ). We may not see the coming of the beast, or we may see it. Only the Lord knows. The point here is that it is not an allegory because it is talking about a physical actual thing we are to do is count the number to figure out that this number is tied to a man (i.e. the beast). If it was an allegory then the actual number tied to the beast would be rendered as some hidden meaning and not as a literal one. We could not confidently say what it means and yet God is not the author of confusion. God put Revelation 13:18 in the Bible for a reason and not for us to write it off as an allegory. Yes, I am aware that Revelation does use metaphor a lot but this is not the case here because there is no indication that it is a metaphor.

Anyways, seeing you will not watch the videos, it appears that I will have to give you highlights from the video when I have more time to do so (Maybe tomorrow or Wednesday - Lord willing). I read an article on biblical numerics at BlueLetterBible, and I believe they are in grave error in their same position as you hold. They have no clue to the mathematical miracles in the Bible that are stacked over and over and over like a giant mountain hill of evidence. The King James Bible is either the most luckiest book on the planet for having these astronomical amount of numerical patterns that point to the Most High God or it is indeed the divine and perfect Word of God.

I have 101 Reasons for the King James Bible being the pure Word. It merely is a fact that many ignore. It’s a spiritual truth just like all other biblical doctrines in the Bible. Anything we do not believe in the Bible, or understand, the devil will come and snatch those words out of our heart. Yes, I know the Bible does not say, “Thou shalt believe the King James Bible only,” but there are other truths that make the KJB that very candidate based on the many many many many many evidences.

You are making absolutely no sense! How can a book be "lucky"? An "astronomical amount", like millions? How do these many, many, many numerical patterns point to the Most High God??? This is absurd thinking, a falsity conducted to "prove" a predetermined "fact" (which is actually false).

The Bible in its original form is indeed the divine and perfect Word of God. English translations, including the King James translation, are just that: translations. And there is no perfect translation.

The “Most High God” is an interesting name of God in the Bible. I am at work and I am not home so to access my normal MAC computer or IPad to show you. Hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday (Lord willing).

Peace and blessings be unto in the Lord.
Oh, and sorry to offend or insult. It was not my intention. I love you in Jesus Christ. I am just shocked at a lack of those not seeing what I am talking about.

ISAIAH 7:14 IS THE PROPHECY THAT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT FROM THE BEGINNING HERE.

14
(FROM ISAIAH 7:14) IS 7 + 7.

7 + 7 = 14.

ONLY INCLUDING THE NAMES OF JESUS (THAT REFER TO JESUS HIMSELF) (WHICH WOULD REMOVE THREE OF THEM), WE GET THE FOLLOWING CALCULATION:

Meaning, JESUS is mentioned 70 x 7 in both the odd and even books of the New Testament (each).

full

This is not some random number, this is a mathematical equation that JESUS Himself spoke.

Jesus said to forgive 70 x 7.

For Jesus said,
“I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” (Matthew 18:22).

Now, you may write all of this stuff off as coincidence, but there are tons more of these kinds of things in the Bible, though.

The Amazing Bible Number 46.

As many of you may be aware of: In the realm of medical science, we know that there are 46 chromosomes in the human body.

full

full

We know according to Scripture that under the New Covenant, our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit.

"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" (1 Corinthians 3:16).

1 Corinthians 6:19 also confirms this truth, as well. What is interesting is that 1 Corinthians is the 46th book of the Protestant Bible.

Behold the scene in John 2:

[Jesus said]

“Destroy this temple,
and in three days I will raise it up.”

The Jews
then said,

“It took forty-six years to build this temple,
and will You raise it up in three days?”

But He was speaking of the temple of His body. So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.

(John 2:19-22).

Not sure if you caught it or not, but the Jews said that it took them 46 YEARS to build the temple. The Jews were confused and they thought Jesus was going to tear down the literal temple of worship, but Jesus was referring to His body. The body that has 46 chromosomes within it.

In 1 Kings 7:15-16, we learn that the two large bronze pillars which stood at the entryway of Solomon's temple. The shaft of the columns (structural) measured 18 cubits in height, with a capital (Structural top piece) measuring 5 cubits in height; this gives us a total height of 23 cubits. This parallels the pairs (two) of 23 chromosomes in each nucleus of the cell of our bodies. We see in a DNA molecule what looks like a twisted ladder. Two sides to that ladder, and 23 rungs or chromosomes. (Note: There was a flower or fruit like piece mentioned to be at the top of this; But this was merely the adorning feature of the structure). There is even a spiral staircase mentioned in Solomon's temple, and this reflects the spiral nature of the DNA ladder.

The word “the body” is found 69 (23 x 3) times in the Bible.

(Important Side Note: While I do use BlueLetterBible for quick keyword searches, it does not always give you the final accurate count number; Check out King James Pure Bible Search, which is available as a software (PC/MAC/Linux), a mobile app, and or as an online search).

Anyways, we read in 1 Corinthians 10 the following,
"The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?" (1 Corinthians 10:16).

The word “The bread” occurs 46 times in 46 verses of the Bible.

The phrase “temple of” (think about an empty temple or vessel) is found 46 times in the Bible. The phrase “the temple” is found in 23 books of the Bible.

The phrase “the word of God” occurs 46 times in the Bible.

The Word of God was made flesh.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1).

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14).

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war." (Revelation 19:11).

"And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." (Revelation 19:13).

In Genesis 2:23-24 Adam speaks exactly 46 words:

“And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

conceived” 46 times in the Bible
multiply” 46 times in the Bible.
the flesh” 46 times in the NT
the seed” found in 46 verses of the OT

“Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?” (Romans 9:21).

vessel” 46 times in the Bible
the vessels” 46 chapters of the Bible.

In Luke chapter 2, we see this in verse 46.

"And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions." (Luke 2:46).

While the text is referring primarily to the physical temple here, the secondary spiritual meaning should not be missed.

"...They found him in the temple, ...." (Luke 2:46).

They found the him [The Living Word of God] in the temple (in His physical body or flesh) (i.e. For the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us - John 1:14).

What is also interesting is that the Bible mentions the words "the doctors" found him [Jesus].

"...the doctors...." (Luke 2:46).

While these were Doctors of what we would call today as: "Doctors of Theology," a secondary metaphorical meaning implies that they were like medical doctors. For a medical doctor's job is to examine the body and to see if everything is working normally and or to treat the sick or injured; And these men were examining the Word made flesh (John 1:14). These men were examining the Word made flesh and his words (Which were also called, "the Word of God.").

Luke who wrote this gospel was a physician, as well. How fitting for the text by which we hold so dear today in our hands and or cherish on our mobile devices (or computer).

What an amazing number we find in our Bible:

The Amazing Bible Number 46.

This number is not a guide to rule our life by like in false numerology, but it is simply a number that speaks to how special God's Word is, and makes us appreciate His Word as being divine and amazing.

I hope that what I said here helps to build up your faith in Jesus Christ, and His word (Which today has taken form as our Holy Bible that we have available to us in so many ways).

Blessings to you all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

These posts of yours are total madness! Primarily, you are basing this kind of voodoo nonsense on the King James TRANSLATION, not the original languages. Also, as I have stated numerous times previously: chapter and verse numbers are NOT part of Scripture! They are reference numbers only!

And this kind of stuff has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus Christ!

If anyone is actually interested in numbers in the Bible, here is a very good article...

It is well-written and clearly combats the superstitious "numerology" posted by someone else on this forum.

I agree, it's an interesting thing. I see many people who seem to take it well beyond what I see supported in the Bible, and I always like to say, the plain things are the main things, and, we should never try to go against the plain saying because we think some Biblical numbers lead us that way.

I like to take each case and look at it in it's own right. The circumfrence of the bronze sea is an interesting number to look at.

Do you have an idea on how to count the number?

Much love!

Anyways, seeing you will not watch the videos, it appears that I will have to give you highlights from the video when I have more time to do so (Maybe tomorrow or Wednesday - Lord willing).
That would be nice!

Much love!
