You not SDA too,
Actually not quite. For reasons I won't go into here, they measure it from Thursday night... From the garden. Being in the heart of the earth doesn't mean dead necessarily. No i am not SDA. They also believe that friday sundown till sunday mornin equals 3 days and 3 nights.
Stop being so combative and follow the conversation. You may learn something. The "no" I offered as a reply was to a question put to me by @BOWnQUIVER , as it seems to misunderstand my earlier response. So first, you've butted in on a conversation that was interpersonal, and second, your response above is meaningless in that context.
You still don't get it. You are misrepresenting both the Old and the New Covenants. Please go back and read the OP.You not SDA too, we retssin Christ because of what Christ done, the OT was all about works, teh flesh, teh NT is all about teh Spirit and grace, make your choice, only one gets you into heaven and its not teh first.
Thank you for the post as it sets out clearly one of the more controversial aspects of the scriptures. I realize not everyone would agree with what you have said but it gives us some concrete information for rational discussion which is always welcome.
The one aspect in particular that I try to get my head around is when people say that the 10 commandments are no longer valid. If that is the case, then it must be OK to murder. Mumble, mumble, mumble. Apart from the fact, the basis for dismissing the 10 commandments seems to be that we meet on Sunday, not the Sabbath so that negates all 10 commandments
That sounds like to me that we are trying to make scripture fit our theology rather than making our theology fit scripture. If you think about it, if we all kept the 10 commandments we would be living in paradise. The fact that we are not, is evident by the hell of a place that we have made planet earth and the fact that we are constantly at each other's throats.

Anywhere the law is preached it produces a mind-hardening and a heart-hardening veil. (2 Corinthians 3:14-15)
Have you every heard of "the Law of Christ"? Christians are under that Law. And it does include the Ten Commandments.Scriptures That Prove Christians Are Not Under The Law
There is no law "of" Christ as opposed to the law of God (except in Galatians 6:2).Have you every heard of "the Law of Christ"? Christians are under that Law. And it does include the Ten Commandments.
Simply adding to the confusion by quibbling over words? So are you lawless? YEA OR NAY.There is no law "of" Christ as opposed to the law of God (except in Galatians 6:2). Paul said he was under the law "to" Christ, in 1 Corinthians 9:21.
I am under the law "to" Christ...so NAY.Simply adding to the confusion by quibbling over words? So are you lawless? YEA OR NAY.
How can that be, us gentile where never under the old covenant, and it ended with Christ, and teh new covenant was made with Jesus, He is teh mediator of the new covenant, all we need do is believe, the rest He has taken care of, of course if you can do a better job than Him sure try so man thik they canYou still don't get it. No they wont, but if thats what you want be ready for a big fail on your half.
Jesus is the God of both the Old and New Testaments. No they wont, but if that's what you want be ready for a big fail on your half.
[UKJV] John 12:48
He that rejects me, and receives not my words, *n has one that judges him: the word *n that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Actually, here is something you might have missed in Christianity 101...Jesus took “ my “ Judgement “for” me on the Cross....once again, Christianity 101....
And you have condemned yourself and all mankind to death, the law is all about you, and works, it is why so many "want" to be judged buy them, hoping to prove them selves able, such foolish things only come from the religious. If the law is going to judge men, that grace has failed dismally, but you are to blinded to see that.Jesus is the God of both the Old and New Testaments.
So then, the law of God in the ten commandments (the 613 also) is His word.
