Did you know that in 1958 the Soviet communists devised a long-range plan to infiltrate the Christian Church? In ex-FBI agent Cleon Skousen's 1958 book, The Naked Communist, he outlined 45 strategic points the Soviets developed for the taking over the United States. Point no.27 thus reads:
27 Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."
In layman's terms, strategic point 27 basically means, stop reading and teaching The Bible. Instead preach world socialism as a replacement.
I'll given an example of this - my sister once invited me to attend a Church she was going to. The pastor had a doctorate from a highly credited university Christian seminary in Nashville. The pastor began by saying he was going to preach on Timothy, so I opened my Bible to 1 Timothy 1, and prepared to listen. The pastor did not read even a single... verse from Scripture; he only went on a tangent of how we need to adopt the poor children overseas, and he was specific about children that lived overseas. I found that kind of strange because a friend at work and his wife at the time were trying to adopt American children here in the U.S. and were having a difficult time. My friend said the U.S. paperwork involved so much red tape and hassles, that he found it so much easier to go to Ukraine and adopt children, so that's what they did. But isn't there plenty enough American children that need adopting in the U.S.? Yes, there is no shortage, so if anything, American couples wanting to adopt American children should actually be easier... to do, than adopt children from a foreign country.
Those kind of preachings wreak of political agendas, fitting that strategic goal 27 of pushing "social religion" very well. Caring about the world's poor and trying to help is one thing, but stressing the point to adopt children from overseas when we have plenty of children here in the U.S. that need a home, well that speaks of political agenda. The pastor tried to base this preaching from Apostle Paul's Epistles to Timothy, and how Timothy didn't have parents, that Apostle Paul took him in and treated him like a son.
Strategic point no.28 that follows was just as important involving the idea of replacing God's Word with "social" religion:
28 Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state.
The idea of "separation of church and state" isn't actually written in the Constitution of The United States of America. Many of the U.S. founding fathers were actually Christian preachers, and they even held Sunday services in the White House, as shown in many of the oil paintings of the founders doing so that hang in the portico. The U.S. Constitution instead says in the 1st Amendment that, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free expression thereof; or abridging freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
The 1st Amendment gives the press the right to freedom of speech just as it gives U.S. citizens the right to worship God and peaceably assemble in doing so, even in a public place like the White House if it be peaceable, as was done with Sunday Church services there in the days of the founding fathers. So if the Leftist press wishes to use the "separation of church and state" theory, then they are promoting that Congress make laws that go against the very Amendment that protects... their free speech. The Leftists do not realize they are actually promoting an oxymoron. And the main religion of the founding fathers was Christianity, so that is specifically the type of religious "free expression" that was not to be prohibited.
So when you find yourself in a church that doesn't actually teach directly from The Bible, but instead goes off on tangents that are more associated with socialist issues instead of the revelations written in God's Word, then you will know you are listening to a preacher that has been subjected to Communist indoctrination on the point of religion. That preacher may not even realize it, but being trained at a university, it is very likely the Leftist agenda has been intertwined with Christian principles.
So how do we, the devout in Christ Jesus who listen to Him in His Word counter those Leftists, and their lack-key pulpit puppets? Simple, stay in God's written Word for yourself! Don't allow any man to deceive you! (our Lord Jesus' commandment by the way in His Olivet discourse).
