Over 70 prophesies tell us it will be. Plainly stated as: Amos 1, Isaiah 66:15-17, 2 Peter 3:7, +
Isaiah 30:26a informs it will come from God's storehouse, the sun. NOT a thermonuclear war, which would pollute the earth for thousands of years.

Well, I logged on this morning to comment on the part of the vision concerning there eventually being completely gay churches in every city in America. We may not be there yet, but I checked, and there are now 8,562 "LGBQ affirming" churches in Northern America alone, and the number is growing rapidly.

There were a few gay-affirming churches in the early 70s, but nothing like this we see today. Thus it doesn't seem all that far fetched, given the current trends, to think that one day there will indeed be completely gay churches in every city in the US, just as the vision predicted; something way beyond the Christian imagination back in 1973.

Yes. As I was telling Bobby Jo, the incessant tendency on the part of most Christians today is to assume prophecies are coming to pass quickly, when they rarely of ever do. That whole vision posted in the OP is still set in the future, though we are starting to see the early phases of it coming to pass now, and that was spoken 50 years ago. Put two and two together, and we have a LONG time before the end comes still.

In a sense, long, but consider how slowly time seemed to pass when we were young and impatient to be old enough to do something. Now that we are quite a bit older, while our work may be in slow motion, time seems to be flying by. This too, I believe, can relate to this thing. Who is a considering it, a very young man or a very old man?

Off topic , but if you feel lead...pray for my eldest daughter , she is 57 and often goes with a handful of Spirit-filled ladies to the big Porn Festivals.
Not the sleazy cheap home made ones ...but the Porn Stars who roll up in their fancy cars and dripping in diamonds etc

They try to stay for 3 days , but its hard to take ( the atmosphere) They stay for 30 mins and then take turns to get outside and pray and worship quietly to get recharged before going back in.

If you cared to, you would google Coronal Mass Ejections and see how NASA and other scientists warn us of the likely hit by a CME in our near future. Governments and military are busy making preparations for it, while Christians, who have the prophesies vividly describing this forthcoming event; are a dumb as rabbits about it.

Keraz, you're so funny. You pick ONE which I'VE ALREADY ANSWERED*, but can't answer ANY. But that's ok, we all know that "solar wind" causes 1/3rd of people to DIE; 1/3rd of fish to DIE; 1/3 of trees to BURN; and mountains and islands to MOVE.

I am not a prophet. My task is a messenger, a herald of the Prophetic Word, as my name means. Strongs H3745
I present the plain Words of the prophets in easy to read articles.
The problem that most have in understanding those Words, is their beliefs in false teachings, that leads them astray.

Daniel 12:19 says that in the last days a few people will understand what God has planned to happen during the final few years of this Church age. For the rest; Isaiah 8:16, Amos 8:11013, Jeremiah 6:10, Isaiah 29:23-24

This is not what Dave W prophesied. He prophesied this would become normal, and we're no where near seeing that. And again, I'd love to here from anyone else who read this in the 70's or 80's, what was your idea of when this would all be happening?

And was his vision something that was all coming together? Or that individual elements like this instance would happen over the next century?

If David Wilkerson [DW] was not walking in the ways of men with his prophecy, but being led by the Bible as the Holy Spirit brought it to Life within him, then would it not be the Word of God? Would it not be the Holy Spirit using him as a mouthpiece?

How can you know actually?

There is a way. What is it?

It spreads fear, I know that. But about warning us the end will come, that society will continue to degenerate, all these things, the Bible teaches us all of that.

The fear of which you speak may relates to the fear our old man has of the calamities we see described in the scriptures and touched upon by DW and by any true prophets of God. If, however, we were always on God's side, what would there be to fear? Do we walk as Caleb and Joshua walked toward Canaan Land or do we walk as the remaining masses of natural Israelites who feared the giants, as did the other 10 spies, more than they trusted almighty God who has never lost a battle?

I've seen many children of God, who do not know their Bibles well, brought into fear by false prophets. That's why God tells us that we don't need to be afraid of them. Because it happens.

Yes, we need not fear. And we need to know how to respond to prophecies, especially those who think they are Isaiah or Ezekiel or Elijah, or the modern day counterpart.

Not to say DW thought that. But the same rules apply, don't they? If someone gives a prophecy like this, don't we hold the same thing as in the OT times?
