Not sure how to use this forum so I’ll start here.
Most that know me call me a Christian, I have no problem with that except, I still feel human.
If one is born again what is that one?
The Spirit wars against flesh,
The carnal mind is enmity against God,
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom,
He that sinneth is of the devil,
That which I desire to do I cannot and that which I try not to do I find myself doing.
Oh wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
They say Christ but in what way?

Hi Avagabond,
One of our brothers on here a short while back had said "the more we study the bible, the more the things of the world fade. "Man does not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes out of Gods mouth" Meaning that He, Christ IS that bread...the Bread of Life. I can attest to it's truth. And the less time we spend away from reading or studying it, we fizzle out. Same goes for fellowshipping..."do not forsake the gathering..." As, we 'should' lift one another up when one of our sisters or brothers are going through tough times. It's a community, really.
God bless and lead you to some peace.
BTW-Some say once born again that they will never sin again, I totally disagree.
I hope God brings you peace in this matter.

I like to question things, sometimes gets folks thinking.
Here is a thought,
“Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that “proceeded” out of the mouth of God.
There are two Greek words translated in the New Testament as “word” (kjv) . Rhema and logos.
Logos is a word spoken (past tense)
Rhema is a wors speaking (present tense)
It’s not just the written word that christians should live by, but the current “proceeding” words of God.
He that hath an ear to hear.

This is the fourth time in the last hour the word "discern" has come to my attention.
I been thinking about that word a lot today, and it just keeps popping up.

problem is,
everytime I have pockets, I seem to burn a whole in them.
funny how that works..
and the hat would surely scare the fur off my cats..
I have a baseball cap and everytime I put it on their backs go up, their ears go back and their eyes get real wide.

Strange alright, that happens to me with baseball caps as well. It has come to symbolise all that sucks. As for the pockets, yer just gonna have to start putting those cigarette butts elsewhere or even stop inhaling that sh.t altogether.

You sound like a deep thinker....agnostics usually want to make sure of things before they commit.
I love all the things you’ve stated there.

"That one" would be a "child Of God," With God's Spiritual "birth" From Above.
