Also says pride is an abomination to God. Thank God were not under that law. Right?
1. The Canaanites were not "under Law", yet they were consigned to heavenly destruction for committing the abomination of homosexuality Leviticus 18:24-25. The Law contains some universal laws (laws that apply to everyone) and some laws that pertain only to Jews (eg, Noah and his children were told they could eat ALL, including the unclean, but the Jews were prohibited from doing so). The denunciation of homosexuality as an abomination is clearly a universal law therefore.
2. We're not "under Law", but we still "fulfill the righteous requirement of the Law" Romans 2:13-15, Romans 2:26-27, Romans 8:4. The Law was not capable of producing righteousness Romans 8:3, for "the the strength of sin is the Law" 1 Corinthians 15:56, but now we have Grace Romans 6:14, and by Grace we CAN do the righteousness required by the Law and not get ourselves consigned to destruction by committing abominations.
