Many believers worry about losing about their salvation.
Some feel they have, and of course, heretics who live on Forums, will try to do the Devil's work of trying to make you believe you can lose yours.
You've met a few of them?
So, lets look at why you might think you can end up in hell, yet you are saved....born again, and not just water baptized thinking you are saved.
The reason you might actually believe that you can lose your salvation, is because your faith has shifted from Christ to... "keep myself saved".
See that? That is "self righteousness" or...trying to make self right with God...which is impossible.
You have lost faith that Christ is your only way to heaven, and now your faith is in yourself to try to not lose your salvation. You have become a "self saver". "fallen from Grace".
This means you are trying to save yourself, which is exactly the same as trying not to lose your salvation, or believing that you can.
Let me give you 2 meditations that can heal you back to REAL faith in Christ,
1.) God and Christ and the Holy Spirit, live in you, as you are the true Temple of God and Temple of the Holy Spirit.....if you are born again.
You are joined to God as "One with God" In Christ. So Reader, if you are born again, then God and Son and HS< are IN YOU, and you are in them.......as all are "ONE" Spiritually.. =This is to be born again.
So, if you died, and your spirit went to hell as some devil's will teach ...., then God and Son and Holy Spirit would go to hell with you, as you are in them, and they are in you, and all are "ONE with God" "in Christ"....
2.) Salvation, is not yours to lose. Its only God's to give and God's to maintain.
See, It's God who provided the Cross, and its God who hung on the Cross for you.
Its God who provides you with the spiritual birth. And its God who has the responsibility to finish you, as a completed Son of God, Daughter of Christ.
Philippians 1:6. and that is why Jesus says that once you are born again, you shall "never perish".
Reader, if you are born again, then you dont have the responsibility to stay saved.
Its God who has the responsibility to keep you saved, and He provided the Blood of Jesus, Eternal life, and the New Birth, as the means to keep you saved.
Believe it !
Your part, is to receive what God has provided, and to exist in a lifetime of awe regarding what you have been given, as the Gift of Salvation, and the Gift of Righteousness.
