God is always concerned and cares for His people. As a result, He speaks of the past, present and future from that perspective. It appears your claim is in error, as the scripture states the time of trouble will be the worst ever seen, and nothing greater will follow after it "No, Nor Ever Shall Be"
If you recall, when Paul was accused by Christ of persecuting Christ Himself, you need to realize that Christ Himself was within them, who were literally being persecuted and suffering through the tribulation of it.
So then, in the culmination of Christian persecution and martyrdom, when Christians on a GLOBAL scale "should be killed", for not taking the MoB, that will be the time of "No, Nor Ever Shall Be".
Again, see the prophecy about it in Revelation 6[9] And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain [killed] for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
[10] And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
[11] And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
