Brethren in Christ, if you will take time to learn the 7 main signs our Lord Jesus gave us for the very end of this world leading up to His coming, then no man nor doctrine of man will be able to deceive you.
Jesus gave us 7 main signs for the very end of this world, the very last sign is that of His second coming to gather His Church.
1st Seal. Rev.6 - first Seal, rider on a white horse.
Matt.24:4 - let no man deceive you.
Mark 13:5 - lest any man deceive you.
The Rev.6:1-2 rider on the white horse is a mimic of Jesus. Our Lord Jesus returns on a white horse with His great army per Rev.19. The coming Antichrist/false-Messiah will also try to come into power appearing like our Lord Jesus. Our Lord reveals more about this further into the Matt.24 and Mark 13 chapters. This sign actually happens later in the Seals order; our Lord Jesus gave this sign of this false one on a white horse to show how deceptive this particular sign will be, as He covered this sign first in His Olivet discourse.
2nd Seal. Rev.6:3-4 - red horse, war horse.
Matt.24:6 - will hear of wars, and rumors of wars, BUT... the end is not yet.
Mark 13:7 - same idea.
Many pastors, especially those on a pre-trib rapture theory, only quote about that wars part, leaving off our Lord Jesus' high point in that with, "but the end is not yet." (Matt.24:6). Wars and rumors of wars are to happen all the way up to the time when the "great tribulation" begins. When the trib begins, all wars will have stopped. This is why Rev.13:4 asks who is able to make war with the beast? No one can in that future time. The beast system will be in power over ALL... nations and peoples. We are not there yet today, but very close. This reveals the great trib is to be a time of world peace on the earth, not war. So when you see all wars have stopped because of the world beast system has control over all military power on earth, then you know you're in the tribulation.
3rd Seal. Rev.6:5-6 - black horse, balances of commerce, famines, high price of bread.
Matt.24:7-8 - nation against nation, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, beginning of sorrows.
Mark 13:8 - same
This sign is about hard times, a measure of wheat for a penny represents a day's wages to buy a loaf of bread. Famines and pestilences usually follow war, so this may be because of a war just prior to the coming in of the final Antichrist. The false Messiah will claim to be God, working miracles, make craft prosper in his hand, etc. So he's probably going to come into power with the ability to fix this situation on earth, if... you will only bow in worship to him. But this sign is still prior to the time of great tribulation. This is still only in prep for its coming.
4th Seal. Rev.6:7-8 - pale horse, Death (Satan) riding the horse; power over 4th part of the earth; to kill with 1) sword, 2) hunger, 3) death, 4) beasts of the earth.
Matt.24:6-8 - an overlap of the previous Seal with this one.
Mark 13:7-8 - same.
These 4 categories of power over the 4th part of the earth represent what the locusts of the Book of Joel reap against God's people, stealing their wealth and power. The locusts begin on the 5th Trumpet per Rev.9, and are described symbolically there like an army upon horses and chariots, with breastplates of iron, teeth like lions, hair like women, and faces of men. Per Joel 2:25 God says it is His "great army" He will send among His people, and that He will replace what the locusts ate. Thus God is sending these symbolic locusts as a punishment upon the earth in the last days. It's about the one-world government working by Satan's world controllers today. When the trib starts, they will be in total control over all nations on earth. God is allowing this to use it as pruning shears against the rebellious. Don't be deceived.
5th Seal - souls under the altar in Heaven that were slain for a Testimony of The Word of God ask 'how long?', and are told to wait until their brethren on earth also are slain for the same Testimony.
Matt.24:9-14 - Being delivered up to give a Testimony for Jesus. Gospel heralded to all nations.
Mark 13:9-13 - Same, plus, do not premeditate what you will say in that 'hour', because it will be The Holy Spirit speaking through you, (i.e., the true cloven tongue). But when you see the "abomination of desolation", flee Judea to the mountains.
This sign covers a time when Christ's elect are delivered up to give a Testimony of The Gospel. That Testimony will go out to all nations. This is what the two candlesticks (two Churches) of Rev.11 are to do in their respective countries which prophesy along with God's two witnesses in Jerusalem. (Jesus said the candlesticks are the Churches in Rev.1).
The Mark 13 version gives a little more of a pointer that this will be a sign leading into the start of the "great tribulation" with the "abomination of desolation" event in Jerusalem. The orthodox Jews will be worshiping within their temple in Jerusalem by the time of this sign.
