That's a lie.
Paul never said that water baptism is when, why, or where, you receive the Holy Spirit.
In Fact, Paul wrote..>"Christ sent me NOT to water baptize".
Stop lying
@Godslittleservant
You are misunderstanding scripture my friend for that is exactly what Paul said in the whole of Romans 6 do you have a bible my friend if so please read it
In Fact, Paul wrote..>"Christ sent me NOT to water baptize".
Again you are not reading in context but cherry picking. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 1:10-17
10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of C

e, that there are contentions among you.
12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.
17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
verse 10 asking for unity in the word of God
verse 11 and 12 Paul says there is division because some think they are more righteous because they were baptized by some one else
verse 13 Paul asked is Christ divided meaning there is only one baptism and it is in the name of Christ who was crucified for you there fore you because he gave his life for you we are to be baptized in his name Acts 2:38
Verse 14 and 15 tells why he does not do the baptizing and he makes note that he did baptize a few in verse 16
verse 17 says he was sent not to do the baptizing for his disciples can handle that but his most important mission was to preach the cross and according to verse 13 that include the baptism in the name of Christ
when we read in context and not cherry pick the scriptures we get the full pitcher of what is being said but when we come to scripture with a bias we tend to miss the full meaning of scripture
now Please stop with the snide remarks and name calling and do as you were instructed and study to show your self approved
