Dear Sister - The Holy Spirit urges you to stay away from cults and doctrines of demons.
The LORD tells us to stay out of false religious cults/belief systems/religions
After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”
And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
Seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit of God - reject anything teaching that does not obey the WORD.
Cult....heretics....demons?
Again I question your definition of cult.
It is nothing new about differing Christian religions not liking differing Christian religions, it is the reality of Protestantism.
People do not like Walmart. The large and well known are open for criticism and ridicule.
If you add up all the Protestant denominations they still do not equal the largest and oldest church on earth....Catholics....a big target.
It is easy to criticize other Christian beliefs by name calling. But that comes a crossed as empty mindless accusations.
The enemy within. The desire to ridicule Christians and divide the church. What do you think Christ and the Apostles would say about fracturing Christ's church into more than 30,000 denominations? What do you think Christ and the Apostles would say to someone that told them they were going to come up with their own denominations?
Like I said, At this point, the cat is out of the bag. So many Christian beliefs and Christ has not endorsed any one of them. In that theological environment what should Christians do? What is the nature and spirit of Christianity? Can we hold our own beliefs but endorse Christianity as a whole?
There is something to be said about what the Bible produces in the application of what is said in those scriptures.
Take the Koran for instance....a lot of good things are said in that book....but what does it produce....homicidal scum of the earth.
I do not agree with Mormonism, but I like how they apply their religion in life. They believe in Christ and Salvation through Christ, that puts them in the Christian column for me.
I go to a lot of different churches and I do not expect them to be perfect or to agree with me. But I am looking for the Christian spirit and stand with other Christians and worship the Lord.
There are a lot of faulty beliefs out there....those that deny the deity of Christ....portray God as a monster....people are robots.... those that believe that Christian application does not matter....sin and sin some more, making sin a lifestyle and still go to heaven. None of it is perfect.
