I realize I'm taking Plato out of context, but isn't it something how his Myth of the Cave seems to parallel with the Gospel?Of course, this animation fails where the people in the cave would pass a death sentence on those who were freed. As the world does to those who are freed, either by ignoring the gospel or martyrdom?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69F7GhASOdM

Well, if Plato should be looking upon Christians as bound by God's Word- (in cave), God declares the only Judgement He allows His children, is against "Fallen angels". Otherwise, its God instructing Christ, who then applys Judgement. Scriptures teach us about the "Judgement Seat of Christ", but with the identical groups judged, as depicted at the "Great White Throne Judgement". But, if notice in Rev., its God who is handed the two books of Judgement, not Christ. so, if Plato is relating to that, he is looking at such a thing from a secular worldly view point, as tho its Christians able to judge, not a "God", the only True God. God Bless!!
