Hi there,

So for all of those people out there, that wonder what the Devil is up to, when he wars against us and defames us before God: he is actually pretending to be more pious than you are.

When the day comes that we are to enter Heaven, the Devil is cast out of the place he occupied, in his piety and given to us, to be in unapproachable light (as the Lord was).

We cannot preempt the Devil accusing us of not being pious enough, since there is almost always room to be more pious, but by good conduct and a noble report, we are able to justify the Devil giving his place to us, in the next life.

And this is the power of God: the blood of Jesus secures that place from which the Devil accused us once and for all, no longer in doubt because of our testimony and being together as brethren the Devil fears to come near us, as he once did.

We should therefore thank God always, that His plan will work out for our good and his peace will be upon us, no matter what our evil may have been in the past.

I hope this has been of some encouragement to you.

God bless.

A question if I may.

In the OP's passage where we are told Satan before God accuses us of not being pious enough.

Why would God believe such accusations?
When he's already kicked Satan out of heaven and told us Satan was a liar from the beginning? And is the father of lies. John 8:44.
